I find on overcast days the crappie like the darker jigs. The lighter ones on sunny days

Get you some ice fishing gear. I striper fish on wateree when the temp is in the 20's and never get cold. Money well spent I promise.

I can't help but recommend a heated vest on those cold days. Not expensive and work really well.
Agreed, I bought one from Cabelas for deer hunting but use it fishing all the time. Takes the chill off in a big way. Warm core, warm hands
@@cullenbigd I bought mine off amazon for about $50 and I already had battery packs. Get some heated socks also!!
