Another wonderful presentation. Truly, the final confrontation with Wickham was very frightening, especially when it was revealed what Miss Elizabeth's future could have been. His character was much less outwardly charming and thus more capable of his criminal intent. Thanks for sharing this version!

I have started to immediately hit the "Like" for any Jennifer Joy Audiobook. Every one I've read has been excellent and it's better for me to press Like right up front so I don't forget it. I believe it helps boost a channel's visibility when we do that.
And I subscribed to this channel by the second, perhaps even before the end of the first book I came across.
I can't say how I ever lived before the youtube algorithm brought me to these superb story variations.
I will say that for my own amusement and to keep in good humor about it, every time this particular narrator says, "Hertfordshire," I restate it aloud in the way it's supposed to be pronounced. Maybe I will start having a sip of tea every time it is said and mispronounced, to increase my [healthy] tea consumption. Tis only this narrator (and tis only me, caring about such a detail).
Edit: adding her pronunciation of "Grosvenor" to my tea drinking game, grr.

What a horrible mother to expect her daughter to sentence herself to decades of a miserable marriage for her mother's comfort for a few years.
Right?! And yet, it was a common attitude at that time. In many (if not most) families, marriage was considered to be more of a business arrangement than a means to love. No wonder Jane Austen’s novels were/are so popular!
Already a fan of your work, I am surprised that this is your first novel. The intrigue of a kidnapping and the detailed description of carriages and places give this book a hook to draw the reader in further. Getting to know Darcy’s Dad was delightful. You are a natural. I hope your twins enjoy your books.

Another great take on one of my favourite novels, I really enjoyed listening to this & my husband who was a captive audience in the kitchen with me enjoyed it as well, which is a massive compliment coming from a man that only reads technical & programming books😀. Wickham was a bigger snake than I thought & very well portrayed. Meeting Mr Darcy Senior was fascinating & he was much nicer than I’d imagined him to be.
