Just 22 minutes in (on 2/22/24) and loving it from the outset while sighing in happiness at six more hours ahead. Glorious. Have already pressed "Like," which I wish I could give a dozen of, for the dozen or so times I usually have to leave and then return to youtube to listen all the way through each of your books. Which I do. Fnished book One of The Darcy Cousins (trilogy) this morning, "Darcy's Ultimatum," and your sweet author's note at the end of it about how you came to be the author you are! Amazing! And lucky for us you had the unfolding the way that it did - you are great at what you do and I appreciate being able to listen, so much! Ok thank you bye!
Thank you for your books! Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice are my favorites. I really enjoy how you take the characters and send them down a different path and keep them true to their original personalities.
Oh if only Anne could’ve had everything she wanted through Jane Austin’s eyes but this was lovely & made up for everything & it was just the way her life should’ve been. Many thanks for all your hard work on these fascinating stories ❤❤❤
This was brilliant.Actually having Anne’s Dad act as a rescuer of children in France and one of them become Anne’s husband was so unexpected. Anne still getting to use her art to educate poor children is a very satisfying ending.
Oh no, now I need to go back and listen to book one all over again! 😅 I got so lost in all your variation, I didn't realized I missed a sequel! I usually like to listen to them one after another for maximum story exploration effect!
Haha! I do the same thing! To make things a little easier, I've created Playlists for each of my series, but with the exception of The Darcy Cousins and The Meryton Mysteries, my books can be read in any order😉 Happy Re-listening!😄
@@jenniferjoyaudiobooks I listened to the entire Meryton mystery series playlist already. I just thought to check the playlists after I went through the book Darcy's Ultimatum. It's alright, I don't mind listening to it again. I liked it.
This was GREAT!!! Love Anne in this, love the focus on her, love the bits of warming from you know who! This is a wonderful adaptation! I can't say enough and I consider myself very picky about books. This took a character that we are familiar with and gave her life, strength, personality! Well done!
A JJ book I didn't have the audio for already and had read it so long ago I'd forgotten everything about it except the letter, and Anne taking a role in the theater. I'm so lucky with my crack memory, when I reread it's almost like reading a book for the first time (except those faves that I reread many many times like a handful of your, which I should know by heart by now.) :) I just loved this one, especially all the new characters so wonderfully woven into the story you think that if Jane Austen had written anymore about Anne we already would have been introduced to these folks. Such a clever story. What a great ending. Thanks so much Jennifer.
Anne definitely deserved this character development and plot, to which you didn't disappoint, fabulous thank you! I did giggle at some of the Americanisms (eg sidewalk and blocks) and I assume the Narrator is an American English speaker with her pronunciation? To me this makes it feel more of a cozy, friend telling a story vibe than a traditional audiobook and is fun. On to the next in the series....
I loved you resurrecting Darcus father and with the happy personality!! Now the resurrection of Anne's father, top. I'm so happy. I love your books. Keep on. And please don't forget to resd and re read Persuasion so you can wright about the eldest sister of Anne and mor about Anne and Captain Wentworth
Thank you so much for posting another of your amazing books you are amazing writter and i am so happy that you are getting closer to 1000 subscribers for now and in the future i wish menny moore subscribers best wishes and good luck
Boh!!che cavolo è questa storia, Anne così malaticcia, qui ,pimpante in cerca di un padre che noi sappiamo che è morto nell'originale....boh ripeto male assortito tutto quanto .🤔
I loved seeing Anne’s character be fully developed, and seeing what she could become outside the daily influence of her domineering mother.
Thank you! I loved writing her story❤️

Who is narrating this book? So well done! I so enjoyed this story I have listen to Book 1. Well done 🎉
I’m so glad you enjoyed Emma Lysy’s narration! She reads the first two books ❤️ Happy listening, Virginia!
She sounds like an actress in Larkrise to Pendelford.(PBS) One of the main characters to but I can't recall her character's name 😊
What did he mean we have no children ? Im so confused
That makes two of us!🤣 If you can share the chapter or time this was said, I should be able to help 😊
