Rulue/Lulu doesn't have a voice in this game. We went from Diacute to Full Power to Diamond Cutie to Want More? Then from Bayoen to Puyopuyo to Cutie to Bayoen.

It's just something that's bound to happen when you translate Japanese into any other languages. You either have to 'twist' the original phrase so hard to the point you're practically making a whole new sentences in order to keep the context somewhat similar to the original, or you just translate the phrases to the letter, which will make the whole sentence awkward and feels like the talkers are not even human being anymore. You can't translate Japanese. That's my take.

With FM sound and low bitrate voice samples, so its not gonna sound crystal clear like cd sampling or like in neogeo.
People change voice actors all the time, sometimes for the better or worse.
M I C H A E L . Its not that the audio is bad, it’s that the voice acting ITSELF is bad, as well as the weird localization done for the names of the characters. Plus, it’s not better than DRMBM and Kirby’s Avalanche. Those games had a lot more polish put into it than this dub of the original puyo puyo, though the original game is usually just better.
true facts have been spoken
is that really a woman voicing arle?
Apparently it's not.
I give Mega Man X4 and the original Resident Evil shit for having cheesy dialogue, but the English dub here is just atrocious. X_X
Puyo puyo 2 is the best
I'm new here (before you say the Japanese version is better I don't understand that laungauage so I'm only here for any dialogue spoken)
Wait? what!?16:52
1:56 doesn't he have more to say
I guess they changed the dialogue around hope they didn't cut anything important
Music 👊 👍
