Chris is another Rockstar who could have story time tours and I would plop my money down every time to hear them! Great interview Allison! 🤘🏻
Thank you so much for joining us!
Just attended the black crowes concert this past Friday… they were absolutely phenomenal. Love Chris and the crowes in general, such an amazing talent!!!!
Saw them in Nashville at the Grand Old Opry...that was my 4th show, and at a bucket list venue. They rocked hard. On the new album, Bleed It Dry is so good.
Yes I love that one too!!!!!
I didn't know that Chris was a good cook. Now, I want a full interview of him talking about food and his world famous borscht recipe!
Happiness Bastards is an amazing accomplishment 🖤🤘💪💪
I agree!
😂
Great interview! I saw them open for Robert Plant in Ottawa on the original Shake Your Money Maker tour in 1990...and then saw the 30th-anniversary reunion tour in 2022. Full circle for a band I absolutely love!
@@LisaL-x7f that must’ve been incredible! Great to connect with you here.
I am glad I'm catching it live. The Black Crowes, great band. I have the entire Shake Your Money Maker permanently in my phone.
So incredible!!!
What a great interview! I grew up on The Black Crowes, such a great band! Chris is such a nice guy! 🤘
Thank you so much for being part of the show!
Oh boy, hmm don't get me wrong I love Chris! But you might want to read Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman's book..."Chris, a nice guy....hmm🤔. "
Good point, good book.
@@pal4597 yep, VERY good book..
CR The 🐐.
This was wonderful. A real conversation we got to eavesdrop on. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for being part of it!
An excellent, fascinating interview.
All the Robinson brothers do is give give and give enjoy every moment
Absolutely. What a gift!
Thank you for this interview! What a full-tilt boogie treat!
Another Brilliant sit down chat with Chris Robinson.Loving the stories...Was just thinking could you possibly add snippets of their new music while chatting before delving full on into the new stuff. Just maybe another add on to your Fantastic show. Keep Rocking.
I love this idea. Unfortunately we can't play music due to licensing limitations. I would LOVE to include their music! Thank you so much for your support and your feedback!!! XO
Allison Hagendorf, I liked this video because it's awesome!
YOU are awesome 😎
Great Interview
Love the Crowes & Chris is such a great performer
He truly is! Thank you for joining us!
Awesome interview. Love the Crowes!!! Thanks!
Thank YOU!
i love the new record and this band and this interview. she really lets the artists speak.
Thank you so so much!!!! 🥰
Chris is the real deal, a true old school Rock N roller...and this new look is interesting! It's kinda like, if Oscar Madison had style kinda thing haha..
He is such a Rockstar!
Hi Allison! I got my chance to watch your New Q&A video! This is pretty cool. I used to listen to Black Crowes from my dad's old Nissan Quest van where we listen to random radio channels (in 2000s). Chris Robinson's stories are very fascinating indeed! It was surprising to see that Lainey Wilson got invited by Chris to be a guest singer for a song like Wiltered Rose in a Collaboration (especially in Touring). :-D Another good Q&A episode, Allison! 👏
Your support means everything to me. Thank you!!!!
Hi Allison, Just found your channel and subscribed. Good questions and I like the way you keep the conversation going. Thank you
Hi Ralph!!!! How wonderful to meet you! Thank you so much for being part of the show ❤️🙏🏼
Allison you’re great, you got a new subscriber from me. I’m a huge black crowes fan too. Idk if you saw my comment on IG or not but I always said Chris Robinson is a national treasure and I love hearing him talk. He’s amazing and super chill 🤘🏻 I would love to meet him one day and just talk about music lol. Since I moved out of my LA and to Nashville few years ago. I don’t get that chance anymore. Anyways just subscribed and looking forward to seeing what else you got
This means so much to me!!!! Thank you!!!
Great interview Allison! Greetings from Amsterdam😀
Thank you so much and hello!!!
I was born in 1970....I'm 54 now.
I'm of the age that I could have actually been in the Black Crowes.
Too young for Van Halen, Zeppelin. Etc.
So I have my vintage drum set set up and play along to them all the time.
Maybe they'll need me some day.....lol.
When I was 19, me and a couple of my uncles drove east to help do construction for hurricane Hugo.
We broke down in Atlanta......I bet the band were playing some gigs around that time before Moneymaker. I ended up on Kiawah Island ....for a few months.
Thank you for sharing!!!!
He’s a great singer/ songwriter and smart and intelligent, interesting dude.
I've got that Troub litho - #44 / 100 - of all my Crowes tour posters I think it's my fave.
Right?! I love this one so much!
Who is this woman? Great interview.
How wonderful to meet you and thank you!
Thanks Allison! Same. B.
I am a huge Crowes fan from day 1. But ultimately it’s really just Chris and Rich at this point. The music is still great but this is a different presentation than many of the albums made with previous line-ups. Much more direct and to the point like Money Maker. But it’s all good!!🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Atl hometown boys killing it
Allison, they’re in Montreal on Tuesday, was just invited by a buddy who has an extra ticket, should I go? 😎🤘🏼
YES!
❤
Chris comes on at 4:45 you’re welcome 😉
They were in rare form that night you said and that's not true they were always on.
You are so right! They are always on. I think the show was extra special for me as I thought I was going to into labor at any second and was ao in the moment. What a gift of a show!
The Chris Robinson and his brother...BAND R.I.P TBC 1990-2013
Ok whatever you say Gorman Widow
It’s the Robinson Brothers, not the Black Crowes
Get a clue.
@@TheRoomfull where’s Steve Gorman? Kicked out because the Robinson brothers are greedy!
@@joemartinez331 If you say so skippy.
Gorman widow detected
@@TheRoomfull I do say so. No wonder your channel only has 38 subscribers after ten years.
The second time you broke up the band, you destroyed what was once the best band of the 90's, no matter what without Steve this band will never sound like they should live, he was an important part of their sound, Live at the Greek is proof he is a beast on drums, BTW I have seen them live more times than I can remember, so call me Steve's widow or whatever you want, but I was a faithful follower of the train wreck that was The Black Crowes for most of my adult life and yes they finally drove me away with the money grab
Same here bro.
Always had very little respect for CR now its off the charts and lost all respect for RR.
At least we have the archive to prove how great they were once.
Long time BC fan and huge Chris fan. Have seen BCs and all of his bands too many times to count. There is no one who can bring what Chris does musically for me even though I’m huge into music and see tons of shows. I’ve gotten into some crazy arguments over the years defending Chris, but I’d stick with Chris no matter what. I could listen to the man talk for days, I find him fascinating and have said many times I hope he writes about his life. However, right there at the end of this awesome interview he said something incredibly stupid about white men, I found it utterly appalling. He proceeded to say he’s progressive and not political. No, saying negative things about white men is political and the narrative is false.
Same here.
Losing / firing steve Gorman was a huge mistake . This incarnation is a total money grab . Both brothers were barely making it on their own . I recently saw this new line up and they maybe played 90 minutes with a Lou reed encore . No disrespect to the current drummer but painfully obvious the groove has forever changed
Without Steve the heard is gone man!
My God, these days Chis looks like the cloned twin brother of one of my colleagues! The only difference between them is that my colleague wears ugly office suits and Chris wears rockstar clothes that do not fit his age anymore! I wonder, can it be they are the same person? If so, when does he switch clothes? It’s a mystery to me…
Love the Black Crows but who’s the interviewer? What’s her credentials
Hi Logan! How great to connect and thank you for being part of my show. I've been in the music business for 25 years. I got my start doing A&R at Sony and then transitioned to interviewing artists which I have done for the past 20 years for various television channels. Most recently I was the Head of Rock at Spotify, and left to launch this show. I'm so glad you found it!
@@AllisonHagendorfSony 👍 Do you remember a band called U.P.O.
@@loganarnold5932 yes LA Band - Godless was the song
@@AllisonHagendorf and ur gorgeous :-)
@@davidstewart4310 Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
She talks way too much about herself -who cares?
I’m sorry you feel that way but thanks for tuning into the show! Hope you enjoyed the interview.
