For me, this was my GOTY last year. As a fan of Star Wars, it just hit all the right beats and gave us such a poignant story that was so essential to follow along. A great open map, fantastic characters, great visuals, amazing score, and even better.. room for at least one more chapter it seems.
This game really was snubbed out of so much attention just because of its performance issues, but I don’t think it was better than TOTK, that’s what I thought should’ve won gory but they’re all good games
@@_Dedleef Tears of the kingdom was a really good game but i think they missed SO much protential in this game. The depth is way to empty and the sky has only a few sky islands. The story is good but the storytelling is really bad. I think Jedi Survivor is the better game overall.
@@Ueuwiaheudhfusiqhwuqhs yes they had limitations but instead of making a huge 1:1 Hyrule underground map they could have made multiple large underground areas and fill them with content. I think it wasn't the technical limitations holding them back. The story could have also been told way better. Cut scenes don't take graphic power so at least make different cut scenes for the end of a dungeon 💀
36:59 i do the exact same thing when im playing games with customization; im so immersed that im like "i gotta visually change the character to show how much they've been through" and sometimes i dress Cal to fit the mission (exploration = light clothing including tank top) (main missions = commander gear or bandolier)
I wish it could relate to changing it for the missions is this game because i usually do but the second i got the pink poncho again i never took it off
Rick the Door technician was made specifically as a Joke. The developers said "Ok, so there will be one last Empire guy in this section what should we do with him ?" "Let's make him a Boss, let Players get a laugh"
I always thought this game was truly underrated people just like to hate on Star Wars but this is actually one of Disneys few characters that i actually like Cal aka Cameron is great for this role
I'm sad the game launched in such an awful state because this is genuinely a contender for the best Star Wars game. The writing, gameplay, music, and characters are all amazing. If only the game was well optimized, it would've been praised by all fans
@@lethugnul657good for you. You got lucky, but a lot PC fans and PS fans payed $70 and still had performance issues. I paid and I couldn’t even get it started. Got refund, decided to wait a year, tried it again, managed to complete it, but it still had numerous issues in performance.
One thing i loved and noticed about the fight with 9th sister is that when you fight her in the first game, she is always calling you a trashbag but in this game she calls you kestis the WHOLE time! Really funny if you think about, you had to beat her to be promoted from being called a dirt bag, a really sad promotion😂

When cal reunited with the other characters, I feel like I was at the same time because in game it was almost the same amount of years until he saw them and same with players because this game came a few years after fallen order ❤
It's crazy that Vader had his butt handed to him on a Sliver Platter Twice in The Same Year! Because Both Jedi Survivor and The Kenobi Series happen around The Same Time,same year anyway, Both happening 10 Years after Order 66/End of The Clone Wars.Vader almost Died twice Obi-Wan spared him and Vader scraped a Win with Cere here.
Jedi Survivor was great! Great interconnected world design, great story, great combat, great game! It definitely deserves more love and I hope the team gets to complete a trilogy 🙏🙏🙏
Seeing you freak out about Merrin's "death flags" every time she kissed Cal was so funny to me, because it was exactly what I did my first time around.
The blaster stands is my favorite thing ever because it makes perfect sense to me when you would use a light saber so you would also have range and block and close quarters capabilities, and it’s not like the light saber is heavy to use even though Kylo Ren thinks it’s a heavy baseball bat😂 even in game you can swing and use the blaster. It’s so delicious.❤❤❤

Game was very very good. I got love for fallen order bc it was the first but Survivor took everything that FO did and turned it up and added. All the side stuff and everything is goated. I was losing hair on vader, the spawn of oggdo and the two mire terrors. Also Koboh is a goated planet
By the way, they’re still committed to making the third Jedi game, which I definitely will buy, but if it didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be sad either. This was a damn good game.❤

JEDI SURVIVOR I literally just finished watching your ff16 playthough videos (given that I just beat my first playthough yesterday and loved it so much) and now persona and starwars your easily becoming one of my favorite UA-camrs
I finished Jedi Survivor a few days ago. I think my opinion heavily differs from others, but I loved Fallen Order and just liked Survivor. I loved various combat styles, but the combat itself could be more fluid. Also the story was better in Fallen Order. Dagan Gera was cartoonish and overall not very interesting, Rayvis was quite okay and the "final" antagonist seemed acting very irrational and being overpowered lore-wise. Good game, but I preffered the more linear path.
The problem was that the game was full of bugs, that's why it has low ratings everywhere, now there are no bugs so it should be a 4.5/5 or even more for me.
I love this game when it came out everybody quit because they had performance issues on the first level, but that was the biggest, and I mean the biggest level lol, after that it wasn’t nowhere near as bad🤷♂️ great game, but I would never recommend to someone if they didn’t play fallen order, they need to make a bundle eventually where you just buy it and it’s literally these two games into one❤ even though I hear Obi-Wan in the background saying “ so uncivilized “ lmao
I preordered the game and when it released it crashed routinely every hour (you had to fix the files manually) and now that they fixed all that you can see the plot holes and bad writing with no interruptions! It does do some things right though and it's a good game at the end of the day, I just prefer fallen order (grr i hate ea). I'm glad you were able to get so much fun out of it! Love your stuff man.

In what world was it underrated? It got really good reviews and sold really well, but it was plagued with technical issues at launch.

Personally, I am addicted to the dual wield - cross guard combo.
Dual wielding and Blaster stance were the ones I kept throughout the entire game. Even when trying to 100% the game.
