I'm definitely makings this with me vegetarian recepie, since I always have the small bell peppers on hand. I eat them raw as a healthy snack 😋

Yummy. We have 1 Von's in our town. If I have to stock up and get something that Von's don't have than I improvised. Am in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and I don't like going down the mountain to another town that is huge and to many people. Is isolated here and that is the best part of being up here. I will make this Saturday as I do know those peppers are at Von's. Cannot wait to make this dish. You really have some appealing recipes and I thank you for this. I got lazy there for a while.

Looks delish...But we never made stuffed peppers like that...I make like my Mom made was a meatloaf mixture..No rice in mixture....Then filled peppers with meat mixture..In a big pot 2 cans of stewed tomatoes were put into pot and the filled peppers placed in stewed tomatoes...If any mixture left we made meatballs and placed them also in the pot with the stuffed peppers...Then this cooked on low heat for about 1hour...When done peppers were taken out of pot and placed on a large plate and so we're the meatballs...Then the stewed tomatoes were thickened with a little flour and water...And we also added a little sugar to the stewed tomatoes..Then that was placed into a bowl....This was served with mashed potatoes....This was so good putting the stewed tomatoes on the peppers and mashed potatoes....I don't make this dish that much like I used too....But yours sounds delish and looks good too...

You make food from my childhood. Back then we all ate dinner as a family. Coming from a Italian family we ate until all the Food was Gone. We did not have leftovers unless it was a big Holiday Dinner. Its funny because growing up I was not allowed to date a girl who did not know how to cook but back in 1960s most Girls knew how to cook and Sew and Iron. I Love your Channel. The Love you have for your family shows in your cooking. Your channel is not just about making Great Dishes...Your channel is about cooking for the people you Love.

I love basmati rice I don't buy regular long grain rice anymore. You could also freeze the leftover filling and use it next time or use it in a different recipe. It's so easy to have left over stuff in the freezer when you don't have a lot of time. Thanks for sharing. 🙂❤
I made the mini stuffed peppers they came out good but I think the next time I do them I'm going to cut the peppers lengthwise and stuff them that way the bag of peppers we're good but they were all different sizes so things couldn't fit very much in some of them so I think I'll take your advice and slice some down the middle and stuff from that way the next time but thank you the recipes awesome

Looks so very delicious....I can't do the green bell pepper for some reason that pepper makes me very sick to my stomach. I have found that I can do the red, orange and yellow and so far has not made me sick. So I most certainly will enjoy this 🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍
Me too, everyone who thinks they hate cooked peppers and can’t eat stuffed peppers for that reason should try again with red or orange peppers. They don’t have that sharp icky taste that the green do, they have nice sweet mild flavor.

I do the same when I make my peppers, have been using yellow, red, orange, for yrs. but only difference, I pour tomato juice on mine. 👍❤️🦋
I would normally use tomato juice but the acid in the tomatoes doesn't agree with my husband, so I started to use chicken broth and was totally surprised at how good it was.

Wow Catherine, I am going to try this dish with taco seasoning ! I was thinking while you were grating the carrots, to poke corn cob holders on the end of the carrot stick to keep your fingers from touching the grater. I have certainly done that before, not fun !

Could you freeze these. If so when do you think would be the best before you bake them or after.
Bake them first let them cool and freeze in an airtight container.
My mom bought jalapenos with the intention of stuffing them with a mixture simular to what you have.Have you tried to stuff them before?
