You sold me on the relocation kit. I wanna see it now lol. Love you bike Percy. The color combo is perfect and your attention to detail is is spot on. Your new Arai looks great hanging up there on the bars too
Great videos. I just picked up my 21’ fat bob in billiard red on Thursday. Already ordered the standard height sissy bar, rack, pad, seat and slip-on mufflers. I’m sure it’s just the beginning. Ride safe and watch out for the crazies.
Hey! Thanks for subscribing. Chris is my man. Even if he did trade his Fat Bob in for that LRS. LOL. Can't say enough about that Speed Merchant seat. Just did a few hundred miles on it this weekend. I can't believe I didn't switch to something with that Saddleman gel sooner.
Thanks, Ryan. there was one more thing that I didn't have on the bike when I shot this. Should have the video on that out when I get back from the trip I'm about to leave on.
@@withPercy , look forward to it. I have a '18 Fat Bob with a 128 kit and alot of similar goodies. I am considering your paint scheme, which of course is the highest compliment ;)
Hey Ron - I got mine from CJ Motorsports. He fabricated these specifically for the Fat Bob. Can't recommend them enough. You can find them here: cj-motorsports.com/products/fxfb-riser-extension-kit
What size did you go with? Also....is the speed merchant seat still working for you? I do plenty 200-250 mile day rides & at 150-175 miles my butt could use a better platform.
Thanks! That is the Kuryakyn Deadbeat Duffle. My least favorite bag that I have. I did a video about it after I bought it. Might be worth checking out if you're thinking about picking one up: ua-cam.com/video/PYfFBFEG-wI/v-deo.html
Thanks, man! It's been a lot of fun turning this thing from a vision to reality. I'm going to see if I can salvage anything from that license plate relocation thing. A 2 hour job turned into almost 10 hours. Its was not pretty. And the neighbor's kids probably learned a few new words if they were outside the garage.
Being Here Now, with Percy yeah I sure will although I’m not sure when that’ll be... I’m still recovering from my accident back in November, got hit by a drunk driver that drove off😭😒😤🤬
I have the saddleman renegade solo, and I just bought a mustang solo touring seat just for those long rides. I am going to swap between the two. I'll let you know how it works out.
Let me know how that works out for you. I've been thinking about doing the same thing for a 3K+ trip I'll be doing next year. My concern is that I've heard the Mustang moves you an 1" forward. Would love to hear how you think that changes the rider triangle.
I had that made at rarebag.de I actually had some fender strut bags made that are arriving today and will be doing a video on those shortly. If you contact Rouven at rarebag, tell him that Percy sent you.
Sure thing. There are two sizes. I used 1 pack of each and had a few extra left over. They will also black out some of the bolts on the sides (like the struts). Here are links to the different sizes: M5 Caps: amzn.to/33YZU2u M6 Cap: amzn.to/334bkTL
@@bnzgxr I definitely think they are the best dealer in the area. Do you live around here? If so, we should meet up sometime. And let me know if you want to join in on our weekend rides.
Hey Norris - You won't find a black stand off from Harley that says it fits the Fat Bob. But those are standard for the Softails. I think I ordered the ones for the Slim. I think I might have the part number in the video footage I shot for the license plate relocation. I'm going to try and salvage that footage over the weekend to put out next week.
BTW I guy I know put paint on his rims and let it soak in and then wiped off the excess. Only the eched areas of H-D script went orange on the wheels. Did you know you can do that in 30 minutes? It looks like the wires basically. A blip of orange.
That is probably the sweetest Fat Bob build I've seen. Like the color and gloss paint! The gloss back out on the engine is nice too. Mine is all flat black and it gets a bit old after a while. What is the brand/model of the side bag?
Thanks, man! I really appreciate that. The side bag on the exhaust side is from Rarebag. The web site is rarebag.de The site is in German but if you use Google Chrome and tell it to translate the site to english it does a really good job. I you contact him, tell him that Being Here Now, with Percy sent ya! ✌
Absolutely loving the channel - especially as I'm about to receive my own Fat Bob! I'm wanting to get some of your mods and just wanted your opinion on the sound of the mufflers. Its hard to tell on UA-cam but are they "loud enough for a harley "? I don't want earsplitting sound but certainly want it to be heard well before it's seen and if it wakes the neighbours up then that's a bonus 😅
Congrats, Dekka!! That's so exciting. You're going to the LOVE the bike. It sounds like you and I have the same preferences for sound. These slip-ons are perfect. I've had a lot of people tell me that they really like the sound they produce and the fact that they are not obnoxiously loud. They have a deep, rich sound. So what color did you go with on your Fat Bob??
@@withPercy I've gone for a MY18 white 114. I'm just waiting for delivery but due to covid its all going slow. I was on the fence between a fat bob and a low rider but your video swung me with the mods walkaround! If you don't mind can I ask your opinion on the memphis shades? I love the 11" dark smoke (even considering some white detail to match bike after seeing yours) but am concerned if I had a tinted visor I won't see through the shield onto the road. I'm 5'10" so do you think visibility will be OK with me with the dark tint?
Congratulations its a beautiful Bike you have ! i had a Question, What made you go with the Rinehart mufflers ? i have a 2020 fatbob and im deciding either those or the Vance & Hines? what would you recommend
Hey Andre - I thought I'd answered this but it looks like I may not have. I went with the Rineharts because I had V&H on my Iron and they were really really loud. I wanted something with a deep throaty sound but that wasn't too loud. And I wanted to keep the upswept exhaust. It was a toss between the S&S and the Rineharts. In the end, I loked the way the Rineharts sound better.
I love bung king products I have front and rear frame sliders on my 2022 st. That being said I have found that directions with most products are useless or non existent. I believe it’s the environment we live in every one is afraid of getting sued
It's nice to see it all come together. Congrats on completing all this. I like the helmet even more seeing it with the bike.
Thanks! I was a little iffy on the helmet at first but I'm totally digging it now. Almost hated putting the GoPro mount on it.
Looks fantastic brother! 🤘😎 Been modifying my Fat Bob 114 since I got it 6 months ago! They are great bikes! Congratulations on finishing yours! 🎉
Looks great Percy! THANK YOU because I got a ton of great ideas from you for my 2020 Fat Bob!
Thanks! Do you have photos of your bike on the Facebook group?
No. What Facebook group are you referring to? I can throw a photo there if you would like to see my Fat Bob.

Thanks, man! I really appreciate that. It's been a lot of fun. But now I'm just going to focus on enjoying the fruits of my labor. 😀

You are going to love that bike! Have fun building her out and don't hesitate to let me know if I can help you out with anything.
That is one gorgeous bike and helmet great job Percy
Thanks, DD!!!
Came here from the ridin dad channel. Bike looks awesome!! I really like that seat

That’s one nice looking ride well done 🇦🇺👍🏻
Nice Bike.....like the colour..
Thanks, Jan. That scorched orange is da bomb. I'm not sure I would have got the Fat Bob if I hadn't been able to get that paint scheme.
Job well done!
Thanks, Jay!! Was really looking forward to showing her off in in Louisville. But... you know... ugh.
@@withPercy Still thinking of going as I still have the time off. Just spend two days in Louisville then off to Deals gap.

@@withPercy Haha man I know exactly what you mean :D A 10 minutes bleep fest would still be funny over layed with what went wrong :D
That painted fairing really makes Sophie pop.
Thanks! I think it looks soooooo much better than it did when it was all black. That looked like a overdone boob job. And not in a good way. 😂
I can’t wait to get my sport glide... heavily modded. I had to comment we have the same name
Percy!!!!! Thanks, man. Hit me up with you get your Sport Glide. I love that model. Would be cool to see what you're going to do to yours.

Where can I find the bag that you have right above the exhaust? I have the same fatbob and have been looking for a small bag like that!

The bike is beautiful
Thanks, man! Really bummed that I won't be seeing you in Louisville. Hopefully we can meetup with Bry and you somewhere soon.
Being Here Now, with Percy oh man we are bummed also. We were really looking forward to meeting and hanging out with everyone
This looks amazingly good. Very well done. Can you please tell me about the blackout caps you got from amazon for front of bike?

What crashbar model have you on the bike
Publish the video of the plate relocation. Lookin to do the exact same to mine

The gas tank is too small PERIOD !!!!!! To do any long distance touring . Worthless front fender .
