Tried it , few ( seeds at a) time microdosing , once a heroin addict saw me taking them and inquired what it was , since I knew how potent they were , I refused to let him have the seeds , he then pulled the entire package from my hands , and swallowed them , a few months later, I saw him totally sober , and he told me about it , how he had his excrement totally black , I guess that was his detoxification from heroin. He is now a changed and sober man
The issue with Datura plants (and the alkaloids contained therein, Scopolamine, Atropine, and Hyoscine) is that the dose required to 'trip' is very close to a fatal dose. The potency is also extremely variable, one seed pod could be very weak while another could be so strong that a few seeds could kill you. Unless you're able to isolate the compounds you want from the plant, it's impossible to know how much scopolamine, hyoscine, and atropine you're actually ingesting. It's just not a good idea. The 'trip' itself is also extremely dysphoric and prone to causing lasting damage, both physically and psychologically, because these compounds are anticholinergic. Acetylcholine is essential in regulating your vital life functions, so when you put scopolamine in your body, the 'trip' is essentially just your body entering a state of near death, subsequently breaking down communication between regions of the brain involved in creating your perception of reality. Taking this in the amounts needed to 'trip' is tantamount to poisoning yourself. I just don't see any reason to do this when there are other, safer hallucinogens that can give you more insight and more reward at a much lesser cost

Scopolamine is neither stimulating nor toxic at the doses required for delirium. Scop is usually sold as travel sickness and nausea medication. Using lone alkaloid scopolamine gives no such horrific and dysphoric experiences as most have with datura/brugmansia seeds or otc medicines such as dph. Body load is unavoidable unfortunately, but it isn't as bad and definitely bearable, especially compared to the painful stimulating atropine. Body load begins at 3mg, dose from 3-4.5mg puts one in a dream like trance headspace, frequently nodding off and waking up from realistic profound dreams. That's very dumb, don't try it. It's not going to help your ptsd in any way.
