I would have done flooring not carpets in case of flooding in future. But as you are doing it I hope they won't be too hard to keep clean.

Why not put in a wide threshold doormat section - that's what I have, and it means you can wipe your feet as you come in!

Looking good!that brought memories back when I though that it can’t be that difficult to lay carpet. Yeah I learned the hard way. Is there a reason you laid carpet instead of say, laminate?

No real reason why we chose carpet over laminate... we just made a choice and did it 😀 thanks for watching

Carpet would not have been my choice. Too hard to keep clean
