Love your videos man. I started with something similar with citra and el dorado. Then eventually made that combo into a neipa. Being from Boston I have to have one on tap haha
Good looking beer! Sounds delicious! Gotta love a good pale ale. I’ve got some heat resistant gloves, they’re bbq gloves but good to up to 900F. They come in handy when squeezing the bag🍻Prost!
Great video and seems like a great beer! I find that one of the most important aspects for a crowd pleaser beer is to keep the relative bitterness ratio low. Finishing with fruity hops always helps as well :)
@@ProstwithPeter When you come, we will make a beer together. I live about 1 hour of São Paulo. Here we have many beer pubs and a lot of homebrewers. Cheers!
Love the video and the recipe. Just one question, in the video you had carapils in the recipe but on brewersfriend you left it out (replaced by acidulated malt). Which option is your preference? (note, just brewed the without carapils version )
Interesting! I must’ve missed that. Acidulated and carapils help fine tune a recipe, which can be super important. I love both of these ingredients in small amounts, but you can brew good beer without them. They do slightly different things, so I wouldn’t say I have a preference, but more often I have carapils in my recipes. Check your mash pH if you have a pH meter and if it’s above 5.6, think about including a bit of acidulated.
Hey Peter, just tried this recipe. Everything went pretty well I think; although, struggling to keep it between 66 & 68 in the fermentor right now. Will need a better solution for that than the evaporative cooling towel wrap at some point. One question - during the mash, I was struggling to keep the temp around 150F. It kept dropping to the low 140s. Do you ever throw the heat back on low to bring the temp back up? Also, when you say it had a good conversion rate, how do you know the pre-boil gravity reflects a "good" conversion? Thanks as always, man. Really appreciate the help.
You could definitely reheat, I just usually don’t bother. If you’re using BIAB, just be careful not to burn your bag! And I want to be close to where my expected OG is. So if I’m at 1.038 before boil then I’ll probably get to my expected OG of 1.044 or whatever the numbers happen to be. If I’m too low I may have had bad conversion. I don’t panic about it though, it’s just a helpful tool to see how the brew is going.
great video!
Much appreciated CH!
Awesome video! They just keep getting better and better!
Thanks Matt! Appreciate the good vibes!
I've been really impressed with that Lallemand East Coast yeast, definitely been easy and effective for me.
Yeah! This one made a great beer and it was like 6 months old!
@@ProstwithPeter mine was a random packet I had that was 1.5 yrs old :P but I made a starter overnight to make sure it woke up. Worked like a charm!
I know it’s controversial, but this Peter guy is pretty solid...
😂
Brewing this one for sure! Thanks for sharing the recipe.
No problem! Let me know how it turns out!
Solid video under 10 mins! Enjoyed it, man. Love a good pale ale!
Thank you Tom!
Super simple and chill brew day! Exactly how I like to brew. Good one Peter!
Nice! I'll have to try this one also....
Sounds like a tasty beer Peter. Honestly, you can't go wrong with Citra and Mosaic. Prost!!
That’s exactly what I was thinking!
Great video Peter, you're my kind of brewer! Keep making content!
Thanks Richie!
@@ProstwithPeter Made this today, Peter. Looking forward to trying it in a few weeks.
Yes! Let me know how it goes! I think you’ll be happy
I just brewed this beer.....but I used 2 on es of citra and 1oz of mosaic...and wow what a beer

Oh definitely necessary, El Dorado is one of my all time favorite hops. Sounds delicious!
This is great!
Thanks for the video! Will definitely save this one to try myself. Always looking for crowd pleasers.
Glad you enjoyed! It’s definitely easy drinking
Great video, might have to try out one like that soon! Cheers!
Thanks James! I definitely recommend it! This batch turned out particularly great.
Awesome brewing just subscribed and definitely going to do this brew and looking for more videos 🤙
Thank you! Check out my brew day playlist for some channel highlights.
I love your videos my dude, great stuff. Learn a lot from you. I started to brew my first beer, IPA simcoe mosaic. Hopefully it’ll turn out great
Thanks for watching! Glad I can help. Sounds like a good brew!
nonsense! that foam looks incredible. Looks tasty as hell.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Cheers. Will try this recipe once I get a few all grain kits under my belt.
Yes! Super easy. Your LHBS could probably make this kit like really quickly for you too, so it would be an easy transition.
love it, keep it up my dude
Thanks Cove!
I think this recipe will be on my next brew day. Going to try an English style yeast on this one
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!

Yes definitely. I can get into really bitter IPAs, but that’s not really the best way to please a crowd. Thank you!
Sick thumbnail!
Thanks Austin! We’re working on different ideas, this one’s something new
Cheerz from Brazil!
Hey Tulio! Very cool to check in from Brazil. On my bucket list to travel there!
