hi @OvD - what do you use to extract? Quite good given the dense and complex material.

The extraction was made many months ago, few weeks after the released and I haven't done any extraction since then... and my point is... I forgot which one I used for this track 😅 ...I didn't stick to one particular apps for extraction because of the differences and sometimes I tried 2 or 3 apps and pick the best of each instruments, which by this point, I probably forgot which track extracted by which apps unless it's properly labelled.
However, I have my favourite go to apps if all else fails me and although I am not sure the bass track was from the same apps but I am 80% positive that the drum tracks was extracted using my favourite tool: MOISES. After the source tracks were chosen, I layered everything using AUDACITY to fine tune each track and sometimes I layered multiple tracks for the same instruments with different effect to get it right. Drums is the most complicated with different frequency for kick pedals, cymbals and the rest - which as you can hear in this track, I didn't fine tune the drums much because I was occupied with other projects and maybe a bit lazy haha.
So that was it. Try multiple tools (MOISES quite good), chose the best ones, fine tune in AUDACITY.

      @@OvDevilz hey, thx! Appreciate it.
Should have guessed that this was more involved work than just using some tool.
Will give Moises a try, though.

@@ottowehthat is correct and I remembered playing with the EQ (and some setting like noise corrections, normalizer etc. - AUDACITY) on the bass track when tapping happen to get the most raw and complate isolation without resonance from others that normally increased with elements coming the drum channels. It will not be the case on bass channel itself as stand alone but if you are to combine separated tracks, those little (deduced) sounds could be much more significant especially when we dealing with multiple tracks.
On drums track here, I only did noise reductions as you can hear at around 00:35 onwards, the snare and kick pedals didn't fall to the expected frequencies due to distraction/influence form other instruments - and that is using my fav. MOISES, which mean others are even worse on this part. Usually for case like this, I use some effects on the loaded base track to get the correct snare sounds, then duplicate that section and boost only the kick pedals, if those 2 layers affect the cymbals, add another to deal with the cymbals, and so on for the rest of the fine tuning works - and that is when I have the mood and time to make it perfect, which at that time, I had neither of those 😅.
