The last one was pure magic. That's exactly my goal, to be capable to play rhythm and lead. Just picking a key and progression and improvise right off the bet. Amazing!
Thanks so much! The best way of practicing that is to play over a looper or backing tracks. Just go for it and experiment. After a few months you wont believe the way you play and how much more comfortable it is compared to before that. Cheers //Kris
As a new player content like this is what I am looking for. Thanks so much and if you haven't already, please do a video about the things you wish someone / or you could go back and tell yourself when learning to play guitar and any advice to new players out there. UA-cam us an amazing resource for new players. Oh yeah the jams on this where AMAZING!!
Great jamming from Thomann guys! Thank you....
Nicely melodic playing! As a guitar composer for book trailers about comics seeking inspiration, I like those dynamics and warm sounding harmonies. Cheers!
Great suggestions and examples gentlemen. I aspire to be able to jam with another musician like this one day. Hopefully we get out of this global pandemic and I can put some of my loop practice into use with a live human being.
Awesome. Usefull. Totally nailed it.
More instructive videos please, on any topic you can think of.
Thank you guys ☺️
Bleibt gesund!

"Say Hello To My Little Friend" T.C. He knows how to do just what I do and we jam for hours!
You guys always do a bang up job and great tips. Thanks for the vids! Merry Christmas y'all!!!
Merry Christmas Steve and thanks for all the love, comments and all! We really appreciate you hanging out here.
//cheers man, Kris
This was really really cool. 👍
The Harmony @ 6' + was beautiful @ 11+ ? Sublime. Thank you.
awesome advice Really helps (Conversation on!) thank you boys
29k views on this video is a crime... this was excellent. Thanks so much for a great introduction to jamming, and for so many unnecessarily beautiful melodies in this one video.
Great jams guys! 🔥😊👍 My 2 cents on the tips: recently I seen an amazing jam on a stream, 3 guitars (all white Strats)-4 chords and trading licks while the other 2 held down the rhythm (was Dave Simpson and 2 lovely French ladies, Marjo and Nicole) The foot tapping helps a lot! Even when jamming to yourself and building tracks.
I saw that too, that was epic, I tried to play along but I couln't keep up, so I'm happy with these educational video's, I have a lot to learn.
@@maacrl Years of foot tapping really came in handy when I started doing my own drum tracks! I use a midi keyboard with pads for snare, toms, and cymbals and have a sustain pedal mapped to the kick drum.
@@boomerbassmeme That sounds awesome, I'm doing the course from The-art-of-guitar and he is also a drummer, and records his own backingtracks for the course. Then I discovered that drumming does miracles for your sense of rhythm.
@@maacrl Exactly! Metronomes help too. When I do drum tracks I am listening to a click track to help me keep time. Then turn it off when I lay down a bass (my main instrument) track and play that and everything else in time to the drums.
@@boomerbassmeme Metronomes can get so boring, playing to a drum track is so much more fun and realistic, it's cool to do all these instruments yourself.
Nice tips! Good sounding
That would be great to learn some things about phrasing and how to make sound these more melodic (wording?) and stick within correct mood
Nice video! If it only wasn't for covid^^. Miss jamming with my buddies.
You're not alone man. I haven't seen a stage since February. You know what? It's gonna be even nicer playing together again when this is all over finally.
Cheers buddy,
//Kris
GOOOD !!
Eye contact, some of us don’t always have the ability to make a good eye contact so also noticing the body language of your fellow players, watch them tap their foot to help identify they groove. Cause good music makes your body move to it so just do it! 🎵🎶
Totally Poo! Yes. I never understood those who complain about having a stank face or moving / dancing whilst playing. If a song doesn't make you headbang, move or at least nod your head, it's not a really good one. At least in my book. Haha!
//cheers man, Kris
guys , i love this ! how can i get guillaume tone ? i want to buy pedals for get that sound ! i hope you can help me ! thanks !
All i can say is THANK YOU 🙂
You two should give a Concert together in Munich!
Does anyone know what scales they are using? I'm learning right and can't pick them up from the video. Is it a pentatonic scale or full major? Thank you
Great meshup🤣🤘🤪💜🎸🤘
what is that song? Is the tab for sale?
Kris and his butterscotch tele are melding together.
Haha! That might actually happen one day. One thing's sure: this is THE guitar I would make sure to grab if my house was on fire. :D
Cheers bro, thanks for the kind words!
//Kris
nice yeah
thaaaaaanks a lot man! :)
//cheers, Kris
Getting a hint of slow dancing in a burning room vibe from the jam.
Hello Everyone, what are the title of the songs for the 2 riffs at 8:00 ?
Kansas-Carry on my wayward son
To all at Thomson, I wish you a merry Christmas.
Thanks a lot and of course thanks for all your comments Old Guy! Merry Christmas to you too! :)

Wide shot made me think, "Well, Kris appears to be compensating for something." ;)
Hahahahaha size matters, that why he sounds so good 😂 // Guillaume
I'm feeling emotional now.
Die Strümpfe! :D
10:25 everything is said
Nashville System.
But first you have to agree in what key you're gonna play? Cause you can't play in two different keys, that wil not sound good.
They didn't mention it but this is the key
@@divingcowboy i see what you did there 😁
