    I’d like to try the electric version of this splitter so I can run my bundle business in the garage in the rain and short winter days…

    It looks like it handled that beech well. Most of what I am splitting this year is beech, it's not the most enjoyable wood to split 😁

    I have zero experience with beech. How hard is it to split compared to Hickory and Oak?

      @@FirewoodInTheField Beech is tough. When it dries, it's worse than both hickory and oak. Really tough stuff. Similar to elm
