So a Normal Monster in the OCG is currently seeing mass buyouts and its one which hasn't been mentioned here. 'Dokuroyaiba', is a very old Normal, Level 3 with 1000 ATK and 400 DEF, with the unique distinction of being the only FIRE Fiend Normal. It is bought out due to all the OCG meta strategies at the moment being either FIRE (Snake-Eye, Tenpai, Fire King), or Fiend (Fiendsmith, Yubel), hence it can be used by Imperial Dragon to counter the meta. At least in theory.
You are forgetting probably the most relevant Normal Monster that Primordial engine can use, Dokuroyaiba. FIRE Fiend. FIRE against Tenpai and Snake-Eyes; fiend against Yubel mash and Lab.
I still have yet to understand why that is not the case. It just doesn't make sense to me since you summon them as normal monsters? So they don't even become real effect monsters until you summon them again. I guess being normal and effect monsters could be broken, but having them at least be normal monsters could save them (somewhat)
I'm very insterested to see how Primoredial will work with Metalfoes. Metalfoes were the first things to come to my mind when I saw the Primoredial cards...!
Didn't see it mention there in the archetypes section, but Evilswarm get such a major boost since the searcher gives them more extension and allows them to make a 1 Card Ophion.
I consider that the world chalice monsters would be a good choice to use in this new strategy, as with them you can use them as tuners for Ib, which in addition to being a +2, is also a synchro tuner
I don't know about you, but I imagined a deck that combined magikey (which, in addition to having its own interactions, gives access to the fiendsmith engine and vice versa), world chalice (which would be the part that generates the most advantage to summon other monsters) and a small metalfoes engine (goldriver + metalfoes fusion and goldriver can be searched by the magikey XYZ monster). I haven't completed a decklist yet, but I'm putting together its skeleton, please leave suggestions: 1 Primoredial Imperialode 2 Primordial Tremors 2 Unexpected Dai 1 Metalfoes Goldriver 1 Metalfoes Fusion 2 The Fiendsmith 1 Fiendsmith Tractus 1 Fiendsmith Sanctus 2 Maginificent Magikey Mafteal 2 Magikey World 1 Chosen by the World Chalice 1 World Legacy Succession 1 World Legacy - "World Crown" 2 Lee the World Chalice Fairy Imduk the World Chalice Dragon Ib the World Chalice Justiciar Lib the World Key Blademaster I:P Masquerena Magikey Spirit - Vepartu Magikey Fiend - Transfurlmine Fiendsmith Requiem Fiendsmith Lacrimosa D/D/D Wave High King Caesar Fullmetalfoes Alkahest Link Spider
@@JustNutzProd I've never heard of it in the other way, and it's spelled for Phantasm. Not sure how a giant destructive sea creature would be a pacifist either, but w/e, lol.
the only other deck i can think of that could use these is transendrake. opal head - fire - scale 0 frostasaurs - water lancephorhynchus - wind - scale 7 megazowler/sword arm of dragon - earth
Imperial+red-eyes soul can be turn 0 a board wipe for dark/dragon or fiends by summoning REBD or REAoL Gizmek Uka also can allow you to do SO much "turn 0"
All Normal monster LV 4 or higher need Attack points over 6000 at this point since they don’t have any effect on it. It is time for the game to throw something new into the mix so deck building can change a little but I don’t think it will change the game that much. Imagine you play a normal lv 4 with 10000 attacks and u just hit over some crazy combo deck boss monsters that u baited into wasting its effort. I feel like that’s the ONLY WAY TO BRING NORMAL MONSTERS INTO THE GAME FR. Bc why would u really play normal monster when the game moves like it’s on crack 😂.
plants will like it. copy 4, 5, & 6 of unexpected dai. going loci combo and still having your normal summon is busted. the only awkward thing is the aroma cards like having more life than your opponent and thats gonna be hard with paying 2000 LP still very much worth it

Hilarious.
Aah I remember that card. "Boomerang that chases its target to the end of earth" or something
I was kind of expecting normal tuners or some dino rabbit stuff tbh
@@Dz73zxxx now it became "Boomerang that chases the Fiends and Snake-Eyes to the end of Earth" 😅
Which marketplace does OCG use?

Its' single-minded tenacity has finally paid off
I found it shocking to find that their is only 1 fire fiend normal
I am excited to play a meme mokey mokey version then a better version with phantasm
My pendulum normal deck will love these new cards
If only Geminis were treated as normal monsters in the deck.

I'll be able to potentially update my Suship deck with these cards.
also that xyz tachyon spellcard that searches is REALLY good for suships.
I'm glad Normal Archfiends got a shout out. I have a soft spot for them.

It may look a bit off, but the Spiral Phansasm support is pretty nice
also, never heard of "pacifist" spiral dragon, very nice name, but I'll stick with "phantasm" spiral dragon, thank you, lol.
I’ve heard it both ways

@@Fang1st the field spell is “pacifis, the phantasm city”. The field spell is the whole deck so I call it “pacifis” sometimes
@@JustNutzProd I guess that's fair, I just tend to go by the boss monster/central theme.
phantasm players are prob happy they get to update their pet deck for the first time in several years

opal head - fire - scale 0
frostasaurs - water
lancephorhynchus - wind - scale 7
megazowler/sword arm of dragon - earth
im gonna be lookin over box of friends tbh, princess cologne is like on of the only monsters to have normal synergy
You Forgot To Mention Gorz, The Emissary Of Darkness
Harpie Lady will be great with the Primordial
Didn’t hear if it was mentioned but fish sonar can help you get that normal fish out pretty easy
100% mixing kashtira with this. Unicorn grab Birth, and normal summon any level 7 bricks
Backup Soldier finna triple in price lol
i mean, red eyes did just technically get support
Imperial+red-eyes soul can be turn 0 a board wipe for dark/dragon or fiends by summoning REBD or REAoL
Gizmek Uka also can allow you to do SO much "turn 0"
For snake eyes I'm gonna play hinotoma soul because i find that hilarious
These cards are gonna go MAD in Qliphort's!
This monster make me tink in box of friends (princess cologne) with is a archetype that uses normal monsters
No Evilswarms:( ?
Just wait til they release a Normal "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon"
I’m gonna force this and Transcendosaurus to work. It being a level 6 is just too good to pass up
I wanna try this out with the Hieratic archetype, that or normal pendulums/phantasm spiral.
Red eyes as well.
Ooh, plant support.
You know what I am going to get original with this with mist valley or genex
New e-telly for plants lets goo
Nah plants is consitent enough. At the most it could be played at one or two copies, but plants like extenders so much more than starters now
@@furiousblueblade957 Ye you're right
Let's pour one out for gemini's, but shoutout to magikeys!
Big big dragorabbit fan
Wouldn’t this deck also be able to benefit from DNA Surgery and/or DNA Transplant??
If you can run those you can run degenerate floodgates instead
Harpie lady
Use the Huge Revolution monsters
What website do ya use
I'm using the cards in pure neo-spacian mind you this stops extra deck return effs

Gemini
Can qliphort abuse It ?? It does use 2/3 Normal Monsters.
Just play it in Floow. No restrictions then.
What's the normal in floo
@@shootercade1299 you can add any winged Beast normal you want. Have it as an engine.
You won't have to worry about the effects of special summoned monsters because you normal summon everything anyways.
All level 1 Floo monsters have a clause that say you can't use their normal summon effects the turn you special summon
