Hello Aluxers, what's your preference: Good Guy Waltz or Bad Guy Waltz?
Who should we cover next time?
ANTHONY HOPKINS: ua-cam.com/video/1V-QMl5GS6g/v-deo.html
Celebrity Thursdays: ua-cam.com/video/2b6oFo-7ueQ/v-deo.html
Alux.com please make video about actor Kamal Haasan
Lamar7Up From GTA 5
He's good at both so it doesn't matter
Good Guy Waltz
Fact #2 needs to be corrected. Waltz is one of three German actors who won the Oscar. Christoph Waltz, Luise Rainer, and the other is Emil Jannings.
some even more interesting facts:
1) Waltz` first wife is jewish - so are his children. His eldest son works as a rabbi in isael. ironically waltz´ most successful roles are him playing nazis.
2) Waltz` maternal grandfather was a student of sigmund freud. he was also a quite famous psychiatrists who published about human sexuality.
3) christoph waltz and michael haneke share the same stepfather. they are one of only few austrians who ever won an oscar. unbelievably they won their oscars on the same night.
redToffifee this was better than the entire video. Thanks
Better research. Any reference?
His son not a rabbi! Teacher who studied in Israel for long time.
Joseph Ford you are familar with google yourself, i‘d believe. Altough, it seems like tarantino falsely claimed that waltz‘ son works as he rabbi. He did the study but actually never practiced
His acting ability is excellent. No he should stick as a villain.
He should tried a drama film, emotional, as a father role. its challenge to him
@@ulyssessait
if some day he make a father role, his son has to be Ryan Gosling. they are identical! hahaha
Niko c couldn’t agree anymore. They look identical
@@ulyssessait in alita he was kind od father
He was a good guy in Django and that was by far one of his best roles.
Waltz is one of the greatest actors ever. He is incredible
No the best. I admire him and he inspired me to talk German
He is, truly!
It's BONKERS that he wasn't on the world stage until Tarantino came along. He's brilliant.
There are a lot of German speaking actors that are really great but do not receive the recognition they really deserve. Just look at Daniel Brühl. His performance of Niki Lauda in Rush was more than amazing and IMO deserved at least a nomination for best (supporting) actor. While he appeared in plenty other Hollywood films like Inglorious Bastards, The first Avenger: Civil War, The King's Man: The Beginning or The Bourne Ultimatum just to name a few, he more or less only had tiny roles.
Matthias Schweighöfer who appeared more recently in American Late-Night shows for his performance in Oppenheimer he is more known for several appearances in RomCom's in the German movie productions.
Even Till Schweiger, who more recently appeared in press again for treating his peers and production team badly on set to a movie he was shooting and playing in, appeared in some Hollywood movies like Inglorious Bastards, Lara Croft, Happy New Year or King Arthur but even though he tried hard to appear in more American movies his appearances always seemed to be a bit forced and therefore rather stiff.
I am from Vienna Austria. I am so proud to be Viennese. We love Christoph Waltz. He is a living legend. He is a Viennese gift to the world. After all, Vienna is the Capital city of Music and the City of Dreams. Christopher Waltz is a musical dream. so he is very much Viennese not German. Indeed
big fan but doesn't know how to spell his name, nice
Pramod Dubey they are 2 different countries, that’s why
@@googleaccount93 u know they hate "germans". People always mistook austria as the same thing with "germany"
Pramod Dubey Same for the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland,... and still they’re differences
@DGS first of all if Austria is too small to be it’s own country than many countries need a “Anschluss” (such as Switzerland). Secondly it’s not Austria’s fault that Hitler was born here (I mean he could have been born anywhere why does it matter ?).In Austria Hitler was a failed artist Germany made him their “Führer”and even tho Austria later joined Germany I still don’t think that you can blame only Us for him.
But fact is those were different times and neither Austria nor Germany acted rationally. So please stop crying and just accept that we Austrians are proud to be our own country, that we have our own culture and that we are not German!
He's like this low key actor in movies that you just thought nobody notices and realize he's the one that actually makes the movie amazing
He is the man of culture and of quality
What i find most amazing from Herr Waltz is his speech. He is a very great speaker in all his movies, especially the Tarantino films. Obviously it's scripts but i dont think anyone else would of dokne it like he did. Love him...
Jodie Foster is also fluent in French and dubs herself in the French versions of the films she appears in.
I am thrilled in his performance in Inglorious Basterds.
He is my favorite actor of all times!
I saw him playing in one episode of 'Kommissar Rex', people from europe maybe know this tel. show. Back than he was not famous but also incredible at playing creepy characters.
Which season/episode of ‘Kommissar Rex’?
@@emilyrobbins3238 Season 3 Episode 6 'Der Puppenmörder'
Ali Girsch : thanks/danke
@@emilyrobbins3238 I saw a few clips of that episode, if you find it, can you link it here? I wouldn't understand a thing, but I adore his acting.
I love love love Christoph Waltz! Such a good bad guy, such a good good guy. Brilliant, sexy, charismatic, and SO talented!!
he's the reason why im learning 2 different languages. I would love to know 4. Im learning German and Spanish. and after I get those down I would love to learn French or Italian. I want people to be in aw when they hear me speak like we all were of Hans Landa
You can do it! I'm learning english and italian but I speak spanish
I speak Burmese and I am learning English and German.
I want him and Ryan Gosling on the same movie as a father and son duo, a class act and minimal dialogue yet speaks alot of emotions
anybody else left wondering what Spectra is?
Americans and the correct spelling of English words...
I’m huge fan of his acting skills. Just brilliant
- Dominic de Coco !
- Waltz: BRAVO !! xD
I love to hate his bad guy characters. Christoph should definitely stick to his role as villain.
An antagonist's role is harder than that of the protagonist.
Great pictures by the way.
It's pronounced SpectER, not SpectRA. Like the word centre. I couldn't focus on anything else in this video
I'm glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that...
That was cringe worthy! I was triggered every time she mispronounced his name.
Thank you!
Offer instead of officer
Thank you very much for this video. Although Christoph is Austrian we here in Germany love him as a guy of us and are very proud of him. :-) He is a great actor indeed, and I admired him for years in many different tv series, on stage and also on the silver screen. Good guy/bad guy - doesn't matter. He was always able to play complex characters. There is only one thing that puzzles me: During his studies in Lee Strasberg's studio he tried to get a foothold in the USA as an actor - and his agent told him he had to be prepared he would be casted for nazi characters mainly. But Christoph didn't want to play nazis, so he decided to leave the US. - Well, and decades later he got international famous and won an Oscar for playing a nazi.....

dusan ninic Do your research 👍
me
Loved to hate him in "Big Eyes."
He should keep playing a villain. He is soooo good at it. Maybe something similar to Inglourious Basterds. Out of all his villain roles that one would be my favorite.
He should doing both, Good or bad guy. He is a escellent actor!!!
I was feeling amazed he spoke 4 languages in the same movie.
A phenomenal and brilliant actor.
Maybe a romance. or a romantic comedy. I get the sense he is capable of so much.
Christoph can play ANY CHARACTER. Although he was beyond impeccable as SS Hans Landa, I hope that he will not let himself be typecast. He's too talented to narrow his scope of practice in the arts. I LOVE HIM ❤️😍
would love to see christoph do good man roles
let him make his choice! He would be great in any venue!
For me he shows that there are great actors out there, we just don't know about them, yet.
It's specter, not spectra...
Swedish Otaku It’s spectre dumbass
Christoph is the kind of man i would go straight into him and kissing him right away when i see him
why none of Tarantino's won the Oscar, it's only because the Waltz was only one, who has intelligence beside the acting skill ...
This is random asf buhhhh I wanna see Donnie Yen n Christoph Waltz in a movie together... lol
... is it just me - or does the narrator have an annoyingly affected voice ?
Yup
I didn’t expect him to be so old 🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️
To me, he is the best actor alive after Anthony Hopkins, although Brad Pitt is good too.
Daniel Day Lewis is 1st. Waltz is definitely second.
This video shows how our world is full of undiscovered acting talents.
He is best in controversial roles both
I like the bad guys he played in his old german movies best... I want to see him play a fun & happy good guy for a change :) with an evil twist
I LOVE THIS GUY!!!
He was awesome as Dyson Ido in Alita Battle Angel. The way he portrayed a father figure in that movie is heartwarming.
one of my fav actors. He should play more villains
So there are more austrians than germans einning an oscar
Which austrian also won an oscar? Christoph Waltz is german and austrian. His father was german and he owns a german passport.
@@justicartiberius8782 he grew up beeing austrian in vienna, he just has the german pass because of an old law. There are even 37, last winning was even not waltz , but haneke in 2013.
@@kgius7434 And you know... a german father. Not to mention he lived a big part of his life in germany.
He's so so talented
He is just brilliant
this is the daddy I want 👀
Go away he's my daddy
Love you Waltz!
This man is real great 👍🏽
Does anyone else thinks that young Waltz looks like Justin Bieber?
5:40 actually he said "go away" to the interviewer pestering him. Stopped watching this video after this
@@AlwaysFknSalty celebrities are real humans with opinions as well, they dont exist soley to serve you and theyre allowed to have their own opinions
@@cassie4125 And I have mine: shut the fu$k up.
ua-cam.com/video/_w6eqHOE2qo/v-deo.html (turn on English captions) Good riddance to all you viewers who doubted for a second Christoph would lack morals enough to like somebody like Trump, he doesn't need fans like you
No, they asked him if he had anything to say to Trump and his answer was, "Go away." Love it. And love him more for being smart enough to not like Trump.
I love himmm so bad :)
2:12 i see bieber
he his one of my best actors . i love him for djiango, inglorious bastards, big eyes and the three musketers . he was exceptional . he act as if he his that person himself . another actor i fancy is Pierce Brosnan.
Does anyone notice he looks like Mr Garrison from South Park when he wears glasses and short hair?
That is crazy that he has been in over 100 films and television shows.
He is the best to play a sico villain role 👌
11:21 He should play a very very 'good guy' next, look at that candid face!
C’mon now... “speck-truh?”
I appreciated with honor this actor, I am inspired because of their character HANZ LANDA and their languages. I hope in the future talk about many languages like him.
hans
Was that 2 minute intro really necessary?
He is good at being a villain ....why don’t make 15 rich villains in history Lol ...
10:14 “am dam des“
.......Spec..tra? What? Do you even know what the movie is about? Why did nobody correct you at the least during editing?
More Villain Roles for Waltz please.
excellent actor..
Make the newt video about Tom Cruise please
Interesting life. It was the USA or Tarrentino more specifically who discovered him
Just a fun fact. Waltz's second wife is listed on IMDB as Judith Holste, not holst. Funny in that is my last name and people often screw it up.
Born and raised in Vienna .... so ...
💪🏻👍🏻😊
I like Germans more than Austrians At least you understand when they smile or say truck you
"Spectra"...? You mean "Spectre".......duh
His first wife didnt believe in his acting career.........and now shes stuck in little apartment in the ghetto......while her ex husband has a cool 20 mill in the bank. HAHHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAH
He should play Joker role
WHY do you have to ad that shitty loud background noise to this good video. WHY ?...don’t you realise it spoils it😞
this narrator seems to be under the delusion that 'valley girl' smarmy over-enunciation is the mark of a TOTALLY serious journalist... like, totes.
Seriously--her 'totally serious actress' impression renders the video unwatchable and impossible to take seriously.
Villain role for Loving Christoph😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Alux best consultant ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
this commentary woman ..... she talk too much
"Spectra.." - Pronounced "Spec-ter" - Duhh.
nr. 13 isn't true anymore because .... Mr. Gorlami has entered the chat.
And Georgetown's trailer is out today😂which you said would release in 2018
She keeps saying Spectra what movie is that? Hahahahaha
I'd like to see him try the good guy, have a go.🤠
Villian/Hero who cares!? Silver Fox just give him more screen time!!!
Parfois je le trouve drôle et très coquin j aime bien😍
Ich denke, er spricht auch italianisch.
Christ, this could have been a 5 min video. Skip to 2:00 for the actual list.
I m his an Indian fan. Sometime I wanna be an actor like him.
Just in September 2020 viewed in full inglorious basterds in full. I had seen bits of it before. It was an excellent film. I would like to here what he thinks of the U.S. short of our country being permissive. New York and LA are not representative of the Country.
Austrian Gerard Depardieu!
Also heard his son happens to be a Rabbi
Spectre, not Spectra
A great actor like Waltz should never be typecast! Let him play any characters that interest him!
Good actor
Why does the narrator say spectre like that
Waltz is great. This video sucked.
I'd rather say German mother tounge speaking actor, rather than German
