I just subscribed to that channel 😄😄😄
That scene when he kept replaying his dad saying "I love you, son" always gets me, especially when I first saw it at 11 years old.
Me. BROKEN
@@MoviesinDepthAdam's tears were real. He was still emotionally raw from his real dad passing away.
This is definitely one of Adam Sandlers best movies. It’s funny and emotional and teaches you a lot about how precious time can be and to enjoy every moment.
Yes. Omg my thoughts EXACTLY
I remember going into this movie like oh it's a romcom with Adam Sandler with a twist, this'll be great, and then sobbing hysterically for the last like 30 minutes. The "I love you son" repeated over and over again STILL haunts me.
They knew. What they were doing
Adam's tears were real. He was still emotionally raw from his real dad passing away.
SOBBING
I'm a big fan of anything to do with time loops and travel. If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking out 'Deja Vu' with Denzel Washington and 'Source Code' with Jake Gyllenhaal. Ta. 🧡
I haven’t seen that yet!!
Have you seen the movie 12:01? That is a great time loop movie, a lot like groundhogs day. They where both an adaptation of the same short story, also called 12:01.
That's not supposed to be a time stamp, that's the name of the movie
Also groundhog day and 12:01 were both released the same year
I love, how much fun you had with this movie. I think, it's very underrated!
It was so GOOD
This movie is a gem from my youth! It still brings me to tears. Ever since I saw this movie, time spent with loved ones meant so much to me.
I wasted this movie for the first time with my family a few years ago and the scene where he goes into the beyond at the store I jokingly said this is the story how Adam Sandler died and then he actually died and I almost cried and kept yelling know I didn't mean it! 😭😂
The movie HEARD YOU LOL
When I first watched this movie, I was impressed with how Adam Sandler pulled off the dramatic scenes later in the movie. Who knew that the man could legit act? I haven't seen any of his more dramatic movies but they're on my watchlist.
He did such a good job with this role!!
I saw this as a kid but watching it as an adult has given me an existential crisis 💀
Why should it give you an existential crisis? If anything, it should make you wake up and realize you can change your life for the better. The choice is yours alone.
@@StaticBlaster thats kinda why. Same with just how short life can be. Appreciating every moment before it ends.
@@SentientPotatoXIII Yes and I believe this film is a must-see for all. The world might edge closer to peace if everyone grasped the impermanence and brevity of their own existence.
"We're gonna watch a movie that I'm sure will bring me nothing but happiness." Oh man, if you only knew. Sandler films will sneak the feels in sometimes, haha. Such a beautiful movie though, really enjoyed watching with you! Keep up the great work man!
This and Uncut Gems. geeeeeez
Movies in Depth but anime?! I didn't realise I needed this in my life until now. Can't wait!
The scene where he slaps and farts on Hasselhoff's face is hilarious
They knew what they were doing
fun fact: the singer at the wedding is the actual lead singer of the cranberries, as a throwback to the song playing on their first date!
WHAT that is such a good Easter egg!
I watched this when it came out, I think I was a teenager and thought it was so dumb.
But I watched it recently and that ending had me crying, it had so much heart. This movie reminds you to live in the moment, bc life can pass you by 😢❤
For a comedy movie, it sure got pretty dark at times. And I mean like, A Christmas Carol dark.
It’s CRAZY
Cameron Monaghan is amazing tho. He also was in an episode of Criminal minds (SPOILER ALERT! He was a criminal). And everyone knows him as Ian from Shameless and hopefully as Jerome from Gotham.
This movie does have a good concept. I mean, who would want a universal remote?
Side note: Anime In Depth does sound like a pretty awesome. The possibilities are endless with anime!
Thank you so much for watching!! And thank you for the loveeee!
lmao hearing the intro is funny knowing dam well he's going to cry later in the movie
Watch Last Holiday, with Queen Latifah❤
Oh that red haired kid is Cameron Monaghan the actor for Cal Kestis
Why Evan crying brings me joy. 😂 😂
I want to tell you all that Click is an absolutely great movie because it tells about work, family, friends and their importance and makes us think that which is more important: work or being with family? I can personally say that both are equally important! Working makes money so that the family can live well and be happy with family and friends.
Michael Newman is not a selfish man because he was just trying his best to do his job so that his ungrateful and always bullying boss would finally and finally start to appreciate his work because I think the fault is not Michael's (even if that future, on autopilot, still for some reason chose to work after becoming the CEO and it led him to divorce and stubbornness and indifference, so it would have happened to him for one reason or another anyway even if he had never gotten hold of that universal universal remote control) but the reason is in his profane boss and in this movie and in many other drama movies as well" from a harsh, inflexible and quite terrible, bad and almost harmfully unfair work and social organizational structure, where the bosses and supervisors are slime-balls who think only of themselves and their employees or bully their subordinates just for fun, and who refuse to give time , for their employees for the moments they spend with their family and loved ones, but only just work (in our world, our work and leisure life has a much friendlier, more flexible and fairer organizational structure regarding these matters because in our world, for the sake of maintaining good order, at least usually fortunately never go like in TV series and movies)
Based on Michael's remote control, in my imagination I also designed my own universal universal remote control that controls life in a similar way: it has a different shape, but the same shiny substance in color and surface, the same buttons and the same functions as in the movie remote control, and the artificial intelligence programmed into it develops new and interesting and useful features every now and then, but it there is no "it fast-forwards by itself" function (because I don't want it to happen to me with my own remote control, the same as it happened to Michael, that my remote control decided by itself which life events I would experience and which I would miss) and it also has a blocking chip inside it just to be sure preventing the artificial intelligence of the remote control from developing that feature and otherwise protecting certain and most important functions of the remote control so therefore I am always the master of my remote control and I control it and it does not, like the movie remote control, either in the same way or in any other way me and I use it wisely and judiciously even if I could without care shame on using it exactly the same way Michael uses his.
Merry Christmas Evan. I hope that it’s a good one.
On a personal note for me, another sad moment of this entire thing is not just his dad dying, but just watching this nowadays, knowing that there’s an alternate future where Dolores O’Riordan (lead singer of The Cranberries) could still be alive.
Merry Christmas!!
If you want to watch and emotional movie I suggest Cyberbully. I don't usually cry when watching movies but this one got me real good.
You know MID, im starting to think youve been getting my work schedule on the DL 😂. Because you ALWAYS release these while im in a rush and i can barely get here and pay attention 😂😂😂
I’m TOO GOOD LMAO
I watched this movie as a kid and it made me scared of death
For next December, you should check out Love Actually.
I still haven’t seen that!!
1:42 It's called subtle racism 😂
The biggest question: if you watch this, will you watch Leo? It's genuinely as good as people say. The songs are hit and miss though
Merry Christmas, Evan! ❤

Fun fact, Adam Sandler’s mom is played by Julie kavner. The voice of Marge Simpson.
I could sooooo hear that
Imagine the things MID could do if he had a remote like this. Imagine.
You don’t want to know what I could do………
A Christmas movie that I think you should react to is Arthur Christmas.
Maybe it's too early to say this, but - Merry Christmas Movies in Depth! 😊❤🎁
Merry Christmas to you too!!
18:20 Katie Cassidy!!!
"I will always and forever tell you the 80s was the best time for music" while listening to Hold the Line by TOTO which came out in the 70s 😂 (you're 100% not wrong though, and I only know this one because it's my favourite TOTO song.)

Fun, Anime power. Amazing.

19:11 That is literally how Henry Winkler looked in "American Christmas Carol" from the late seventies in his 'Scrooge' makeup

The KING and my scream principal kinggg
Just when I think I've heard of all the Sandler movies (and never watching them), there's another added to the list that NO ONE TALKS ABOUT
LOOl
I can understand the initial use of the remote on the dog. I do dumb stuff like that, not actually expecting anything to happen.
That makes sense the rest… well he needed to learn a lesson lol
@@MoviesinDepth yeah, and that. Lol
3:12 WOW an O'Doyle reference from Billy Madison 11 years later lol
Lmaoooo
That would’ve been a smart movie to have the Spider-Man Ben scene play out on the tv while Sandler watches
YES
Can you react to "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms"? That's a BEAUTIFUL christmas movie! 😊💖🎁🎄
👀👀
i did Sub To Your New Channel

That is an icon statement
1:03 I wasn't going to say it but you did lol
I won’t ever just not say it
Love this movie
This has become a fav Adam Sandler movie for me
this is pretty much your typical comedy until he fast forwards through an entire year to his first promotion. That's when it starts getting emotional and very deep.
They took it from 0 - 100 real quick
@@MoviesinDepth Exactly
16:59 Do you ever know where to start eith any statement 😂
SHH KMAO
11:20 What you got against TGI Fridays 😂
EVERYTHING HAHA
8:25-8:31 same 😂😂
The TASTE lol
That ginger kid is Cameron Monaghan
I’m not a video game player, but I noticed in a different Click video that someone mentioned he provided the voice for a character in a Star Wars video game.
@@StaticBlaster Not just the voice, the face as well. He was also in Shameless and the Joker in Gotham.
@@peter_pansexual6243 That's cool.
i haven't seen this in years
It’s such a good time!
@@MoviesinDepth it really is
2:10 bob from stranger things!

Surprisingly Poignant movie, wish Sandler did more like this.

Happy Holidays MID and I'm christmas birthday baby and I wanted to meet you and Billy, Angelina one day, are you going to do christmas movies
How would you feel about rewatching The Batman (2022) with us?
Oh don’t you tempt me
If dragon tales wasn’t one of your favorite cartoon shows growing up in the early 2000s, please don’t talk to me. Like ever.😂
This is an accurate statement
1:02 Any fun stories, MID?
We aren’t gonna talk about that lol
guys he's lying about the shelves, its a green screen
This guy gets it
Just wanna let know any Miyazaki fan present in the comments section that I've watched The Boy and the Heron.
Also, I'm still waiting for that Oppenheimer rewatch 👀
I need those NOW
6:57 what in the Scrooge am I looking at
You know what you’re looking at lmao
I vividly remember the part when Michael kicked Bill in the crotch, but never knew it was Sean Astin. How dare does he do that to Samwise? And I've met Sean at a con; very sweet guy. Loved him as Bob Newby and Raphael.
Omg him is Bobby was everythinggg
Anyone who casts Christopher Walken in a comedy movie knows what they're doing.
They were cooking with gas
6:11-6:14 the icon
The legend
12:19 She was here to begin with?!
LMAO
Im a sadist I love watching people discover this comedy is actually a very depressing movie that’ll give you an existential crisis lmao
Omg you’re me

12:50 MID, stop farting at Hasselhoff's face
Don’t tempt meeee
Nah man I'm mad Michael muted Terry
ME AND YOU BOTH
Omg I avoid watching this movie bc of how emotional it is. When I first saw it I was like wtf why am I crying Adam Sandler?! The Henry Winkler older/death scenes ruin me & Adam in the rain trying to go to his son
They RUINED ME
You're a weeb Im a weeb we're all weeb here
I’ve found my home
