Excessive thinking ya overthinking se logon ka mood kharab ho jaata hai aur time bhi waste hota hai. Kayi baar neend ki dikkat bhi hone lagti hai. Overthinking ke sabse badi problem ye hai ki wo apne aap ko aur badhati rehti hai aur insaan ko past mein le jaati hai. Jo log past mein jeete hain wo apna future theek se nahi bana pate.     Excessive thinking is a common problem that impacts a large number of people. People often complain that their mind just doesn't stop working. A useless chain of thought which often includes imaginary conversations is an exercise in futility. After some time, people feel tired and sad. If this excessive thinking is happening at night time, it may disturb the onset of sleep. In this video, Dr. Praveen Tripathi, who is a senior psychiatrist and sexual disorders specialist, discusses the problem of overthinking and how it can be controlled.
    Dr. Praveen Tripathi is a renowned psychiatrist who practices in Delhi-NCR. He did his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS, Delhi) and MD (Psychiatry) from the prestigious Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS, Delhi). He also underwent training at the world-renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, USA, and Kansas University Medical Centre, Kansas, USA. He is one amongst the few Indian doctors who have cleared the prestigious United States Clinical Skill examination that evaluates a doctor's clinical competency. Dr. Tripathi underwent training in the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy from Harvard Medical Centre, which is the topmost medical college in the USA.

    one trick that has helped me alot is writing down my thoughts and then asking myself 'is this useful? is this under my control?' and i try to take examples from other peoples life jaise uski life me toh aisa hua, at least yeh mere sath toh nahi hua na. and this is one way i cope with it

    Mere Dada ji ke covid me Jane ke baad(22months ago) me bhot overthinking karta hu aur bhot unhappy rehta hu and 10 months pehle mujhe bhot bada depression aaya tha jis time Mera birthday tha and me apne birthday pe bhot unhappy rha tha ab depression to nhi but overthinking thodi Kam hui he pehle se and me abhi bhi thoda thoda unhappy rehta hu and anxiety bhi he for my 12 boards and concentration ki kami ho gai he online class ya offline class lete time mind yaha-waha ki baatein sochta he

    You're right sir, I'm fully problem centric person & i don't know what i do now I'm studying in graduation & my mainly taget is cracked SSC CGL exam and become an CBI inspector. Sir now I read Wikipedia 6-7 hour and i feel relaxed. Thank you sir

    Overthinking is eating my brain every day ..now , i am not able to make any concious decision .....i can stay focussed only for a few hours n then i end up in my imaginary world ..i keep suffering that imagination incessantly...i overthink about my past,my present,my future,.....i most of the time get overboard with anger for some imaginary reasons,suicidal thoughts come some times,,,some times i think of becoming monk ...sometimes ,i think of my career,...some times i think that if i get married ,then wife would not like me and ultimately she will leave me ...i will remain jobless all my life,or i will have meagre income due to which my domestic life will be a disaster..i can not live in my present moment....i know very well thatv hard work is the key to success but i cant give my best ,my 100%...hence,i cant clear any job exam ..it is all because of my overthinking,my insecurity,my underconfidence...Even after i watch motovational vedioes ,i can not retain the impact of those motivational vedioes for long length of time ...i ultimately always succum to my overtinking ,anxiety,tension,frustation,insecurity.......i do not know when i will be able to overcome these negative thoughts of my crazy .mind...my intelligence is always defeated by the madness of my mind....o lord krishna please save me and save all others suffering from this type of mental problems....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    Real problem ye hai k insaan ko pata nahi hota k 5 saal baad kya hoga, iss liye wo beete 5 saal ya 10 saal k baare me sochta rehta hai k agar mai ye karleta agar mai wo karleta.
    Aaj bhi agar koi ye sochna chahe k beeta hua beet gaya ab aage ki soche tab bhi wo faisla nahi kar paata k aage kya karna hai.
    Kyun k waqt k saat umer aur zimmedaari me kaafi farq aachuka hoga. Ab wo faisle kaam nahi karenge jo bahut pehle karne they, ab k raaste alag hi hongi, ab zimmedaari ziyada hogi, ab manzil bahut door nazar aarahi hogi. Ab ziyada koshish aur mehnat ki zarurat hogi jo ho na sakegi.
    Yani ghuma phira k wahi hona hai k agle 5 saal k baad bhi ham se galatiyan hui hongi aur ham phir yahi soch rahe honge k kaash aisa kiya hota ya waisa kiya hota, kaash k ye na kiya hota,

      Ye bilkul normal hai, sobhavic hai,
      Per aisa nahi hona chahiye, kyun ki iss se bhoolne ki bimaari badh jaati hai,
      Best solution ye hai k bekaar ki baton per mat socho, kyun dimag ko bekaari me overtime karvaate ho, really useless.
      Aur dimag ko har waqt present per busy rakho, yani ab mujhe kya kaam hai kya karna hai, main kaha hoon, kya kaam pending haiz etc etc.
