  • The plaintiff lived with the roommate. He claims the defendant stole his debit card, birth certificate, and other forms of identification, then attacked him. He’s suing for stolen money. The defendant argues the plaintiff was a nightmare roommate and tried breaking up him and his wife. He’s countersuing for back rent and stolen food.

      I rent from a really nice place that was listed on Craigslist, good ones are listed on there, you just have to vert them very well. I as a landlord now have found a great tenant from Craigslist.

    I wish we had an update on this one! I am literally going to be chomping at the bit til I get an update!! I do find it very suspicious that plaintiff claims he has a police report and needed medical attention from an alleged assault but doesn't bring it to court. I sincerely hope we find out soon what happened in this case.

      This drama queen was in another episode as well with a different roommate!! LMAO!😆This time he showed up with his husband! He likes being on this show and keeps applying to get on it. The sad part is, they keep taking him back! 🤣The name of that episode is called "Running renters out". He changed his appearance by getting a haircut. lmao

      @@asgb752-belgium7 he would have brought that video footage to court for sure if that really happened and i dont believe that the footage exists , he probably made the whole thing up and sent the bank on a wild goose chase trying to go through video footage to find something that does not exist . all u have to do is tell your bank that somebody stole your atm card and took money out and they will just believe u and start an investigation right away but if they dont find anything then they will just let it go and this diabolical liar plaintiff knows all that already , he has probably done similar things with the bank before .

    These cases shouldn't air unless there is an update. I hate how they leave us hanging. I believe the plaintiff is a liar and who knows if he even went to the police and filed a report. He has no evidence of police reports, or hospital papers. I think he needs serious help.

      i will give u an update , the plaintiff lied to the bank and they never found the footage because it never happened . and nothing happened to the plaintiff for lying to the bank .

      either he lied to the bank about missing money or he wore a mask to hide his identity and did it himself , either way i believe he is lying about the defendant taking money out of his bank account , because u would have to be a very desperate criminal to even attempt to do that nowadays with all the cameras everywhere .

    So according to the plaintiff, he left all his important papers, his debit card AND the pin number lying around, yet left the place to 'cool down', doesn't have any proof of a police report, nor a hospital report, in fact he has nothing, sounds like he is what the defendant said, the plaintiff is a pathological liar...

      I noticed a pattern of his speech slowing down and stumbling a bit when he makes the questionable claims, but not when he's saying simple (and likely truthful) statements. Everybody has a 'tell', and now we know his. 😒

    At 4:42 when judge Milian asked her bailiff why people came to court not prepared, it reminded me of what judge Judy asked to a litigant: «Where do you think you were going today?!? TO THE BEACH???» It can be pretty irritating for a judge to have to deal with idiots who present themselves in court with no preparation what so ever hoping the judge will give them reason without them giving any efforts to plead their cause.

    The plaintiff was obviously lying about his debit card and the assault. He was looking nervous as hell when he left the courtroom after learning that he could get in trouble once the camera is pulled 😂
    So... he was assaulted on January 13th? but moved in January 16th thru the 30th and ate dinner with them daily, and then disappeared on the 31st?
    He only responded with accusations after the defendant was looking for him for dinner. He was avoiding paying the rent the next day, and trying to cause trouble just like the defendant said.
    Don't get roomates if you can avoid it

I am aware that I am Belgian and he is American. Not every example must be 100% exact just to make any sense. I did mention young people in general, is that ok with you? young people. My niece is 17, she will be 18 in May, and her friends are between 18-23 and all of them are pretty much careless about their ID, credit card, keys, etc. I could not mention my kids because they are way too young and I have their cards with me. I helped to clean my niece's car and under the front carpet, I found a credit card for her friend, at the back seat I found a driving license, 5 euro banknotes, and 3 pens. Do you need more help? or does it make sense now?

    I remember the plaintiff from another episode a couple of years back when he had longer hair and a different spouse but I believe his spouse since time passed he passed away. He looks a whole lot much cleaner now but it seems like his mental state got worse.

    The plaintiff is a professional "law suit roommate"
    He was on this show before with his mate suing a roommate they had moved in with and were a big bother then too - had all manner of reasons for not paying rent, accused those people of doing things to him and his husband / boyfriend (who later died under questionable circumstances).
    And who the f*** does he think he is to be telling someone else's spouse they are cheating? It's none of his business, he's not the morality police.
    He's a lying drama queen and seems to live to stir the pot, causing trouble everywhere he goes.

    1. The defendant cooked for him. That means he was very nice towards.
    2. Why would he tell his wife that he cheated on her?
    ...I was going to say he had to prove it but the defendant didn´t correct this.
    ...if they were best friends, if the knew each other for the longest time MAYBE then he´d feel like telling her. Otherwise it isn´t his business.
    3. The plaintiff said in the call that the defendant WOULD cheat on her. Not that he did.
