Vandal Hearts | FMV #2 | A Premonition of War

Sostegaria, a continent known for following the teachings of Toroah the Messiah, breaks into civil war. The nobles, who hold most of the economic and political influence, are challenged by its citizens who fear a corrupt and oppressive regime. Known as the Liberation Army, and lead by Arris the Sage, the free peoples take up arms and push back against the Royal Army, this would later be known as “The Revolution”.
After the fall of the nobles and the defeat of the Royal Army, the Republic of Istaria is born. However, Arris the Sage mysteriously vanishes, and the hope for a new leader with him.

Vandal Hearts is a turn-based tactical role-playing video game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo for the PlayStation and later ported to the Sega Saturn by Konami Computer Entertainment Nagoya. The PlayStation version was distributed in Japan, North America, and Europe. The Saturn version was never released outside Japan. There was also a Microsoft Windows version developed and released exclusively in South Korea.
