It's too bad they will never do music together again. As Joel (one of the bad members) said, their brief rise to fame was a sign they "were doing something right." I tend to agree.
Since the release of the album, I am always irritated when I ask people about the band ‘Headstrong’ and they say, ‘you mean the song by Trapt’, and I’m like, not even close, the Band!!!! They are so much better then half of the things that made it to radio.
This is by far one of my favorite albums all the time. Is there any other album then Headstrong - Headstrong? I also don't have any idea how did I find this excellent group in Czech republic.
we released some early stuff when we formed as bomb32 and there are a few post-RCA tracks that we pushed out in hopes of getting a new deal that didn't come. a bit of unreleased throw aways, but you folks aren't getting those. thanks for the kind words!
This was such a great fucking song. Is there anyway to get this on rotation on SiriusXM Turbo? One of the best rock songs from that era and it would be great to hear it played regularly. Really makes you realize how bad some of the new rock is now.
What a fuckin shame!!!! Witnessed their talented rage live, opening for Tommy Lee in Vancouver. Left part way through Tommy, only remember these guys. Still play them over and over. Im extremely picky in my musical taste, and I wined and dined on this bands sound. too bad corporate politics makes me want to puke. HEADSTRONG...comeback, now.
Joshua Estelle No, not true. They quit because RCA dropped the label support after failing to market them properly. I picked up their Headstrong album in the US for $10. They weren't price gouging, at all.
@@ShaunKeefe it's more complicated than all of this, but you're both right. we had many many reports of our album being way too expensive in our own country, (we're canadian), and of course we went to enough record stores to see it for ourselves, but in the US we didn't run into this. There were problems in both territories that were born of politics between BMG Canada and RCA that made things challenging, that were out of our control. also, it was a very tumultuous time for the whole industry. that said, NONE of these things were why we broke up, though they certainly contributed to making things more difficult. The label made the decision very quickly and unceremoniously that we were no longer in the family. So what you mention is more about why we might have lost our deal than why we split as a band. Anyway, i can tell that you both seem to enjoy the record (i hope), and that's whats important. All the best!

Saw these guys open for flybanger when I got my first tattoo at 14. They were good. No one was on the floor and the singer went in the floor and said now he’s the only idiot up there. Good times lol
wow
It's too bad they will never do music together again. As Joel (one of the bad members) said, their brief rise to fame was a sign they "were doing something right."
I tend to agree.
Since the release of the album, I am always irritated when I ask people about the band ‘Headstrong’ and they say, ‘you mean the song by Trapt’, and I’m like, not even close, the Band!!!! They are so much better then half of the things that made it to radio.
And definitely better than Trapt ever was.
This is by far one of my favorite albums all the time.
Is there any other album then Headstrong - Headstrong? I also don't have any idea how did I find this excellent group in Czech republic.
and I still like it :)
we released some early stuff when we formed as bomb32 and there are a few post-RCA tracks that we pushed out in hopes of getting a new deal that didn't come. a bit of unreleased throw aways, but you folks aren't getting those. thanks for the kind words!
this song needs to be on rock band or guitar hero
@Orangebike666 yup
Great song! Does anyone know who the woman in the video is?
are there any live footage of this band?
@rab7x does it have this song?
This was such a great fucking song. Is there anyway to get this on rotation on SiriusXM Turbo? One of the best rock songs from that era and it would be great to hear it played regularly. Really makes you realize how bad some of the new rock is now.
Not many songs with my name in it, just found this one today, wondering who this group is…
Whatever happend to the lead singer?? Does any one have any info
WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?
Miss this group along with saliva, godsmack, creed, drowning pool, evanescence, linkin park wish they all made new albums
@jolthax Seriously? This dude is real talented.
@HohkehVlogs411 hahaha same here!!! lol
no but seriously the lead singer is really hot....
@jolthax it's true matt is the best
+1 matt is the best it's true
What a fuckin shame!!!! Witnessed their talented rage live, opening for Tommy Lee in Vancouver. Left part way through Tommy, only remember these guys. Still play them over and over. Im extremely picky in my musical taste, and I wined and dined on this bands sound. too bad corporate politics makes me want to puke. HEADSTRONG...comeback, now.
I saw them on that tour !
dee rac Saw them in Knoxville Tn. These guys FUCKING ROCKED !!!!! Another underappreciated Canadian band.
@yungpharoh314 I work with him. He is the best.
Lol I was like 666.
I wonder if this song was written about the Sopranos.
My name îs cute
i think there manager screwed them over when they where on tour or something like that?
A tale as old as time....etc etc etc
They quit because their only album was 26 bucks in Canada. Yeah its price gouging at the end of the day
Joshua Estelle No, not true.
All the best!
um
These guys were ripping off Tool before ripping off Tool was cool.
song fuckin rips
too bad the band was short lived
we were together 9 years all told, only signed for a couple of em.
