Wow, a lot of construction work over there in Madeira ! And a pretty neat assortment of 1970s commemorative covers from the U.S. and UK as well. Keep it up, and see you on the next one. Greets from GER, U.
Nice covers and a great view, hope you are settling in well 👍👍👍 I would love to have the Posieden launch from the USS Simmon Bulivard, my oldest brother served on him for 2 years. Looking forward to more videos good 🍀🍀🍀
These space covers were very popular - I have gotten tons of these exact covers in box lots and passed them on to cover collectors or soaked the stamps if the covers were in poor shape. What an era compared with the crazy pace of space news today!
I'm not really a cover collector, myself, but many of these cover events that happened when I was growing up and followed avidly in TV coverage, so I'll be hanging on to them.
Nice start to the video. The ocean is the most beautiful blue! Idyllic! I googled both Canico and Funchal - both beautiful and along the coast. You are going to enjoy it so much to live there, Ted. So many covers! Interesting. I liked it when the stamps on the cover were also space themed. Thanks for the video, Ted.
Hi TED from America 🇺🇸! Great 👍 episode! Yea I can’t stand that cellophane. Folks need to make certain that they are using archival materials when storing/ housing stamps!
Excellent theme! I've some nice space covers too. 👍
I'm jealous! what a view and a great collection of covers.
Thanks, Karen.😀

Hi Uwe. Yes, construction cranes are a common sight here. I just hope they don’t overbuild.
