You guys let me know what you think! I have a couple more resin pieces coming up! Wish I had a little more beach but....check out the ks resin website, they are amazing!
Wow! You are fantastic! That's the one that I you told me. But since I am a real chicken rookie, I didn't want to mix anything. Thanks so much for your help. You are so kind.💕
Molly, I am totally loving the resin pours... there is such depth with it that is truly breathtaking... Love it.. and that you for sharing your art with all of us.
I like how it moved when you used the heat gun. It looked alive! I’m still new to painting in general. I’m nowhere near this skill level. Lady, you have got real talent!
I love it! I've been very hesitant about resin although I like the end result. I'm glad you took us through that demonstration. Also, I love how you reminded us that we need to keep heating (for the air bubbles) and that you added another layer that produced those marvelous lacing effects. I'm loving it!!! Thank you.
Molly-I want to thank you, I had a bad experience with resin. Was totally frustrated, about to give up on the entire fluid art experience. Kept watching you and loving your results so I dove into the KS Resin purchase and.....I LOVE IT! Ive only made some coasters and Christmas ornaments, but its so easy to work with. The bubbles pop easy, easy to mix, doesn't stick to everything and plenty of time to work with! I was very afraid of working with resin again, but now I cant wait to try more projects using resin.
Hi Molly I’m John and very recently a huge fan of your work, I really enjoy your excellent tutorials keep up your wonderful work, ... iv been watching your videos all day excellent, thank you....
It's beautiful Molly! I can hear the waves; it's that realistic. I'm about to start learning about resin. I've got the resin. I've got the colors, I've got the substrare and I'm waiting on my son to bring some sand from our favorite beach. I'm exhilarated and terrified all at once. Your video is very timely for me. Thank you for what I learned from watching you and thank you for the inspiration.
OMG love it! This looks so amazing and fun. I’ve just gotten into pouring, watched many of your videos on that, and now I want to try this! Perhaps I practice pouring more before jumping on a whole new thing. But it looks so awesome!
Thanks for your Beach tutorial!! I am going to practice first but when I get so much better @ this I want to do a Beach scene for my oldest daughter. She's still in Galveston, (I'm 20 miles away). I raised my kiddos there so we understand what you say about the beach. Point is she loves the beach and I want to surprise her with this one day. Thank you for making me feel I can do this too. Judy ~
This is so beautiful!! I love ocean scenes and this is a favorite of mine. I am scared to use resin, but this has helped. I need to watch this again a few more times before I jump in. Thanks for the video. You do a wonderful job!
Wow! The depth you get with this is amazing. I have stayed away from resin due to complexity (that may be imagined) and cost but I might need to rethink this. Great art Molly thank you.
thank you! it is not that bad, just make sure you take safety precautions, do it in a well ventilated area. you can start small with tiles and buy small bottles at a time so as not to spend that much money!
The yellow hot air gun you were using while you waited for your replacement is exactly like mine and it’s way too hot lol! I’m going to order one like you are using. I believe it will be much much better!! And I will use your link!
Very therapeutic watching you have fun creating, I had to say that even before you even finished working on it! I want to work with resin, but I do have a slight fear of working with it. You make it look easy. HP
@@MOLLYSARTISTRY The chemicals. I don't have a dedicated area to leave my work. I thought it was smelly and bad on for you if you breathe it. Do you think a fan in a window will help?
@@SIFENCER yes. If you have respiratory issues, then I wouldn't. You have to find a reresin that is zero voc. You do need a place for it to dry overnight, some put it in a bin, others cover with a net. I would start small on some tiles!
@@MOLLYSARTISTRYI have no respiratory problems. That interesting, I was wondering what VOC was I will have to look that up. unless I missed it in the video. thanks for the idea of using bins also.
Hi Molly! Very beautiful. I’m a surfer, know how the waves break. You’re very close to how an outside set rolls in, and breaks. Beautiful piece. There are few artists who can emulate the breaks. Thank you for sharing your beautiful artwork. Yes personal protective equipment (PPE) is an excellent recommendation-folks, listen to Molly regarding PPE..even if you do not have any respiratory issues, read the product labels-if they state PPE WEAR it. You can also search under the product name, look for SDS or Label. Read, read, and re-read to make sure you’re using the resin as directed. Well ventilated areas, never next or in the same area as a hot water heater or boiler..this is merely advice! The burden of safety rests on your shoulders. Happy painting! 🤗
Love your work! Unfortunately I am extremely allergic to clear resin, can be a bit of a problem with my job as a modelmaker! It's the new stuff with all the added accelerators and UV inhibitors, makes me blow up like the Stay-Puff marshmallow Man, ha ha ha, not fun at the time. I can do small works but have to be ultra clean and cover up well. So I am envious of your work but grateful of your postings because it just makes me happy to see great work, as for everyone out there thinking of doing it, just go for it, nothing ventured nothing gained. It is always a good feeling to add another skill to you repertoire. Keep up the wonderful work!
Beautiful my favorite Resin pouring arts. Tried Pro marine too smelly going to try the KS soon.Love Stonecoat Countertops & yes should wear PPE precautions.
Beautiful! Makes me want to do resin art. I was scared of resin too! I finally broke down and just did clear resin on my coasters as I couldn't find anything else that wasn't yellowing to seal them! Ruined a few sets before I just gave in and resined. It was stressful! Lol! And I found out how dusty my house is! Lol But I think I've got the hang of it now. Think I want to do a few more sessions with clear before risking wasting resin on something like this. It's so expensive!
It def can be, but it is so worth it and its beautiful! Tell me about dust lol. I was a nervous wreck on my first coasters and I had drips everywhere! And I was using not so great resin at the time. Once I actually spent the money on good resin, it opened my eyes! Let me know if you've got any questions! Thanks for watching!
I used your code and ordered this resin a couple of weeks ago. I haven't used it yet because I have never done resin and I only have acrylic paints here :( As always, thank you so much for making such detailed videos and sharing your gift! You're an incredible blessing!!
Beautiful Molly. Funny, have just ordered a gallon of Stonecoat resin all the way from Auzzi land.. Would love to try thus KS resin. I just sent them an email asking if they ship to Israel...
