The drum work with Michael Schorr in Death Cab was, to me, really inspiring. Always such captivating and complimentary grooves. The Photo Album and Transatlanticism have some really rad grooves that I think get overlooked.
Michael Schorr would be damn proud of this. This is far and away my favorite DCFC drum part. And there's a lot of good ones. I come back to this video quite often as it's a song I try and play to. It's a good foot workout, for sure. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoy this cover. Brilliant job.
Michael Schorr was the shit. The drum track is what made The Photo Album so good, and ANY song I've found of them live with him on the drums sounds SO GOOD! The song Amputations comes straight to mind. No idea why he broke up with the band, tho i'd like to know.
He apparently went to teaching drums after. Idk about the 1st drummer but I definitely loved hearing this guys chops on The Photo Album and during live performances
Wow man you are an impressive player! I'm not sure if you over dubbed the drums or what but this sounds just as fantastic as the drums on the original recording. Congrats!
Hey man I have a question about getting gear to do drum covers, any suggestions? I have a drum kit obviously. Justvwondering about the recording aspect of it all? Thanks man

Such a great drum cover of such a great song. Definitely one of my top-five songs of theirs. Anyway, this is master-class drumming right here.
