Emily, This the most recorded song in history with over 3000 versions by other artists
Top selling musicians of all time.
Nice reaction Emily, you can't go wrong with any Beatles song, there's a reason they are the best band ever and this is one of their great ones. So glad that you acknowledge that they are in a lane of their own.
Even though this is technically a Beatles song, this is Paul by himself. It was a departure for the band and they took a risk releasing it, but the fans loved it and it was a worldwide smash hit. Songs were short back then because they wouldn’t be played on the radio if they were more than 3 minutes long. The Beatles changed that with “Hey Jude”. 😂😂 Love your channel. Please react to “Eight Days a Week” if you want an upbeat, “feel good” Beatles song. Welcome back 🥰
The guys on the album cover are actually doing the signs for "HELP"
...were *supposed* to do the semaphore signs for "HELP." However, it turns out that postures were considered not to be visually appealing for the cover, and so they're really saying either "NUJV" (UK cover) or "NVUJ" (US cover).
Hello from Chicago! Took me a while to get to this reaction, but I'm glad I saw it. This is one of the greatest songs ever! And there's nothing like seeing Sir Paul McCartney playing this live in concert! 🔥 I like your idea of discussing/debating your 100 favorite Beatles songs, maybe you could do it as a live stream chat. I recommend/request "Revolution", especially the music video version of it, which is the best! You're the best! You're beautiful! Love your reactions!
The Beatles : You're gonna lose that girl 😛
Thanks Emily. Paul McCartney said this song came to him completely in a dream. With music and lyrics.
At first he did not have lyrics it started not with yesterday... he just sang scrambled eggs... and so
@@Denis-kw9ri ah . Interesting thanks Denis
yup, beatles is up there with wheels on the bus
Another song of theirs that is really different is ROCKY RACCOON. Cute song though.
Listen to more of their stuff. I can guarantee this isn't the only Beatles song you've heard ;)
a great point about the breadth of their styles-no limitations. As for short-packed with goodness. Made the point. If it was a crappy song, no one woulda complained about the length. A testament to its worth.
hey Emily, i think u would loooove the song, Something, by the beatles. much love
The Beatles also produced other bands that made it big Such as a band called - Bad Finger - songs - No Matter What and Baby Blue - 2 great songs just to name a couple .give those a try please you WILL like Bad Finger
Dear Emily, a movie reaction to suggest. "A Hard Day's Night" which stars the Fabulous Four. And you're welcome!
My gosh the memories. Always good music from the Beatles.
the only reason why some songs are short is because back in the days, the radio wouldnt play songs that were longer than 2.30 min
Now you have to react to the Boyz 2 Men cover. They covered it twice. The 2nd time they covered it was in Spanish.
Not Boyz 2 Men did a Beatles cover 🤣 I was definitely born in the wrong era.
@@emilyfeechi shit shocked me when I first came across it like damn I didn't know yesterday could sound so sexy.
Love the simplicity of this song. Alot said in not alot of time 🎶🎵 hugs to you girlie 💙
try, candle in the wind - elton john
Great reaction! Try 'Hey Bulldog', 'Lady Madonna', or 'Dear Prudence' if you get a chance. Thank you!
So many great Beatles songs I could recommend, but I don't want to overwhelm you - here's just a few: Day tripper, We can work it out, Penny Lane, Sgt Pepper's lonely hearts club band, Tomorrow never knows, Come together and I am the walrus
Back then a song had to be around 3 mins or less for radio and vinyl was expensive.
@@BC-sg8eu exactly Benjamin
Hall and oates man eater live 85 please.
It even makes more sense whatining from Th e Ed Sullivan Show.. check it out!
Boyz ll men did a beautiful cover of this, absolutely gorgeous, but the Beatles are the best. Them, Queen, and Metallica impo. I also love the righteous brothers.
songs in the 1960's were short because the artists who recorded them wanted them to get played on AM radio, which is how everyone listened to music back then.... AM radio would only play short songs because they wanted to play 3 or 4 songs and then have a commercial break every 10 minutes. Most songs back then are less than 3 minutes or radio wouldn't play them, which means no one would hear them or buy them... the Beatles were ground breaking in many ways, and it was their song Hey Jude that was the first longer song that AM radio would play... by then the Beatles were so popular that AM radio HAD to play it!
Try 'hey bulldog' (the clip version)
Compare The Beatles with Electric Light Orchestra (or E. L. O.). You won't get any closer. John Lennon called them "The Sons of the Beatles".
Emily, could youd react to John Prine's song "Hello In There" for me, I'd really appreciate it.
@Huckle Berry, yes please. I also love Bette Miller's version
hi, want a cookie 🍪
You're brilliant and I'm P.O.'d that I only just now found your channel! I love you're honesty. Too many 'reactors' are more acting than reacting. You're different b/c everyone can tell...you're legit. From the ones I've seen so far? I'm loving them b/c I finally found a reactor whos reacting. Thank you. If you're still looking for a Beatles song to react to (that lot's and lot's of people would probably want to see) might I suggest 'Revolution'. My humble opinion. AH
Emily, have a look at A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BEATLES . You will learn a lot from 15 mins of footage
Why is seeing her headbob to this the coolest thing ever? You’ve earned a like.
Can't wait to see your top 10, I know you got good taste
