  • Hopnosis Cold IPA Beer Kit from MoreBeer! Review before the big brew day!
This recipe was created by Firestone Walker Brewing Company.
Technically speaking, it is an "overview," but the search engine didn't seem to like that. This kit was sent to me courtesy of MoreBeer! and this is the overview of an amazing beer kit from MoreBeer! before the big brew day.
3 More videos will be released soon covering the brewing of this kit and the tastings.

I brewed that kit with some flaked corn and the mythical hammer yeast and it was hands down the best IPA I’ve ever made and maybe even ever had! Cheers

Awesome to hear, as I was thinking about using Mythical Hammer or a Czech yeast, but decided to take Vito's advice, and I must say it came out amazing and is my current go to beer. I would like to try other yeasts and maybe even change the hops a little next time just to see the impact of the changes.

Awesome, beginner brewer here. Just started this year, been buying stuff from Morebeer. Just brewed a Simcoe Smash Pale Ale this morning.

Awesome to hear! Simcoe is an amazing hop and brewing SMASH beer is how I learned a ton about hops, malts, and yeasts! If you like Simcoe, check out Galaxy or Mosaic as they have gotten a lot less expensive (compared to when they first got popular) and are great hops too with similar aromas and flavors. 1 Gallon Smashes can be extremely fun.

I like the way MoreBeer sends Beer kits vs Northern Brewer. The way the grains are sent and the brew day sheet is way nicer. Northernbrewer comingles all the grains, making it a pain when you get unmilled, and is an oatmeal stout, as an example.

Ouch, the mingling of grains is annoying if you want to modify the recipe a bit with other on hand ingredients. AIH used to do that too which was great when I was just learning, but as you start understanding and figuring everything out that is a bit limiting. I've also deal with both companies on several occasions, and MoreBeer! seems to really care a lot about you as a customer, not just a sale.

2nd that comment. I like Morebeer a lot more than Northerbrewer

The brü club sent me both nova and diamond lager yeast to do a side by side for the average bruise they do for Brülosophy. I could tell you nova comes out more clear and cleaner then diamond did. Diamond I had a lager it longer.

My pizza was burning I didn't remember what I was doing. Watching your video. Crap, crap, crap. And if you're brewing 10 gallons buy two kits. Should there be a discount for unmilled grains? 10% sure why not. And now I have to try hopnossis.
