What a beautiful story and film! Something I wish we could have made! Huge congratulations for 20 years of being one of the best breweries and best beer business in the the industry. Our trip to the brewpub in 2016 is still one of the highlights of my career with the channel, thanks for being so welcoming.
So I wait in line for this unknown beer. I was aware that it had been rated third in the world. We got into the pub after about a four hour wait, this was my first time. They had not opened the Windsor location yet so this was on Fourth Street. We actually share a table with a couple of guys from Sweden who I think went to the US for this beer amongst other things. We order. The beer is put in front of me and for some reason I sort of unconsciously smell it and then taste it. OMG! Beer of the gods. Best beer ever.
Absolutely superb. They are literally legends and I love how Vinnie always gives back to the home brew community via courses and even recipes. It's a life-long dream to come across from Australia to visit and drink a beer that I have only heard about, but never tasted .🍻
Oh crap... this is embarrassing, but I teared up watching this. Getting a flight of beer - honestly anywhere, but especially at RRB, is my happy place. Here's to twenty more!
Just split my first younger today withy girlfriend! Beer was solid yes, but definitely one of the beers that drinking it was just as much about what it's meant in craft beer history as much as what I thought about the beer itself! 🍻
I love this video! Had my first Pliny the Elder at the barefoot bar below Duke’s in Huntington Beach. Game changer. Now I’m in the relentless hunt for places where they serve it! And it causes me to want to brew my own! Thanks for your persistence to make Russian River what it is today!
I tried Pliny The Younger for the very first time this year (2024) and it was truly one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. Congratulations and thank you!
From having been lucky enough to have personally met Vinnie and Natalie ( briefly ) I have to say that these are the coolest people I have ever met running a business. I worked at the brewery for one day, thanks to their generosity and made me feel like I was part of their family. Every trip to the Santa Rosa brewpub ( 20+) has been outstanding. Not to mention, Pliny the Elder just plain Rocks !!!
It's a real American story. And cool that you can still buy Blind Pig today. Pliny the Elder is one of the best beers on the planet, I enjoy it more than Younger.
Your story is inspiring and your beers are also legends among homebrewers and beer lovers here in Germany. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get one yet and I'm all the more looking forward to my first sip one day.
Huge love of what you did and do for beer. You certainly upped the game globally. with love and respect from London UK. thank you for this amazing video
I have heard parts of this story from friends and other home brewers, but to hear it like this was awesome. Pliny is a great beer but honestly you cant go wrong with any of the russian river beers. Every time Im in the area I stop in. Being a home brewer myself they are a story that really can inspire a person to try to open a brewery of your own.
I think the microbrewed label has been outgrown! Haha Cheers on 20 years! I've been to a couple releases of the Younger and appreciate it a bunch. It's also fun to use that as inspiration for my IPAs that I brew. Cheers!
Still grateful that I was able to get this beer on this years release. Thank you, Russian River, for making such a great beer and creating content for youtube I am a new homebrewer and this is so inspirational and I would love to follow in the foot steps of your story!

Some people lucky to know their special talent early in life. Happy for you both, and I will be in line in 2025
This is what passion, hard work and dedication looks like. Natalie and Vinnie are amazing people and they deserve all the success.
Truly an incredible story. Thank you for all you do for the brewing community! 🍻

I remember going to Russian River Brewing Company the first week they opened. I'm very happy for your success Vinnie and Natalie. Much love. Patrick.

A true Legend of the industry.
Like their beer, this video made me smile. It shows the power of a dream.
I thought about Vinnie at this year's Southern California Homebrew Festival, which IIRC Vinnie was instrumental in starting. Cheers!
What an eye-opening story you've shared.
Thank you.
Keep on brewing!

Beautifully crafted video to go along with the rich history. Can't wait to stand in line for a Piney the Younger. Thanks for sharing your story! 🍻

Nice. Only last year I got to drink Pliny the Elder on draft. Highlight of a trip from UK. Just a no bullsh*t beer.

Every brewer dreams of a story like this, must be incredible to live it.

Wish we could get Russian river beer here in western New York
It's distributed in Eastern PA through Origlio Beverage. Not sure how far west they go but worth a look.
🍻
At my Mom winery. Ok. He wasn't dirt poor. C'mon
