- I recently had the unique opportunity to track my buddy's Ducati Superleggera at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. It was an amazing two-days, and this video is a preview of more to come featuring this beautiful bike!

This is one awesome motorcycle! Ducati manufactured and sold only 500 of these beauties, and I'm fortunate to have a buddy who handed me the keys for a two-day track session at Mid-Ohio. Keep an eye out for more Track848 videos covering this bike!

I'm debating SLIP ons or a full Akro. only a grand difference pretty much. YIKES
What do you think about Ack slips vs Full??
+Kenwood TS-930s If there is a need for the few extra HP (or bragging rights), I'd go for the full system; if the extra power isn't an issue the slip-ons would probably be just fine.
How do you compare the power delivery compared to your own bike? The 1199 seems to need quite some revs to get get going (compared to other 2 cylinder bikes).
+Skare147 The power delivery compared to my 848 (and other Ducati 1098/1198 superbikes), is completely different. The low-end torque and grunt of my 848 is no where close to being matched by these newer Ducatis. However, once the Panigale and Superleggera in this case, gets going, (7k RPM and higher), you've really gotta hang on because it becomes a rocket ship. The power and torque at that point on the Superleggera really was a pleasant--and scary--surprise during the first ride!

+Adam Jones Yeah, that's what they were new. It's an expensive toy, and not one that I'd ever be able to buy, (unless I hit the lottery)! It sure was fun riding it on the track, though -- almost as good as my 848 :-)
