Great video!!! Any gas with ethanol in it will start deteriorating after 3 months. After 9 months of storage it is worthless and it doesn't matter if you put chemicals in it or not. Fogging: Yes, you want that oil inside the cylinder, bottom, top, walls. And of course oil change and spark plug change at this time.

Can anyone explain why anti-freeze doesn't come out the port side when following the manual's winterization instructions and only out of the rear/bottom?

Removing the fuel still has fuel in pickup fuel pump fuel lines.you need stabil still.i run a liTtle marvel in fuel so when fuel evaporated it leaves a film of oil.2 running that little pump for antifreeze doesn't push all the water out from exhaust.use compressed air in flush attachment to blow water out then put antifreeze thru it.also the fall is the best time to change oil and filter as the motor runs it creates an acid in the oil and speeds up wear.will it hurt anything doubt it but it's the best time plus you can make sure there in no water in oil.i also recommend taking the jet pump cone off and make sure grease is in good shape and no water in pump that could freeze and push out impelkar seal and destroy the pump.30 years in the business and do everyone that way.

@@Lsailor169699 I try not to watch to many of these videos I tend to bitch alot on how half assed people do things.im a 30 year tech who owns my own shop and videos like this no offense make it seem like winterizing jet ski takes a few minutes when in reality it takes me at least an hour for some and 2 hours for others to do them properly.

@@denniswilder3014 People need to know what you know. I have been doing it for 11 years now and Google sends me a check every month. I also do not look great or have a good voice, so that is why I make my videos the way I do. I also do not use my real name. The Internet can be a very nasty place. I have a question. What would cause a 2007 Kawasaki Ultra 250X to suddenly blow all it's oil into the bilge? Bad pan gasket? Bad hose? Thanks, The Sailor.
