Amaterasu was the character I voted for in the ballot. Really happy some of the other characters I wanted got in though. As for the moveset, I think you don't have to sacrifice her weapons for her brush techniques. If She works like Pokémon trainer where instead of changing pokemons you Change weapons, you could have the best of both worlds with weapon attacks linked to smash attacks and brush techniques to specials. And you don't need to have all brush techniques associated with the character, some could be linked to the okami stage as stage hazards

Like side smash could be Tsumugari's stab when it's a secondary weapon. Up smash could be the charged version of the seven strikes when it's as secondary and down smash could be a similar to Simor/ Richter's down smash. Neutral B could be for inputs like wind or thunder or the cherry bomb, side B could be power slash and down B I'm ok with it to be a counter. Her side tilt could be a glaive attack and the thing would be that you can charge them (like in the main game) but will not be as strong as smashes. Other than these ideas or thoughts it's a great video.
I never played her game, but it looks beautiful. I love this choice because it adds a new female character, a quadraped (so far we only have Ivysaur and Duck Hunt), and an animal (is it just me or have there been too many realistic-looking human characters added lately? More animals and cartoons again, please!).

I’ve been playing the game recently just to study each of her weapon and physical abilities and have been thinking about how they could possibly be implemented with her in Smash. Finally, while her weapons can get stronger the more successful she is at hitting her opponents with them, her attacks can still become stale if she uses one attack excessively just like with any other Smash character. -Ink Bullet Power- Weapons that utilize Ink Bullet Power will randomly release said Ink Bullets to deal extra damage when Okami attacks with said weapons. --------------------- Final Smash: Celestial Brush Okami attacks however many fighters that are in front of her with a Power Slash brush stroke and either: 1. Attacks said fighters with the three brush techniques consisting of Fire Burst, Thunderbolt, and Ice Storm (as well as being used to serve as a reference to Amaterasu’s special move in Marvel vs. Capcom 3). Or 2. Attacks fighters with only one of, not just the three said brush techniques, but also with Deluge and Whirlwind after successfully drawing the symbol that represents one of the five techniques that you desire to use. You only get one chance to draw a symbol within a time limit to use a technique. Failing to draw a symbol in time, or drawing a symbol improperly would result in not activating the rest of Amaterasu’s Final Smash. - Note: You can easily execute Deluge and Whirlwind especially in the shortest amount of time. Deluge can slightly damage opponents over time, but it does not make them flinch, and Whirlwind is only capable of catching opponents and launching them upward at a certain distance. The Deluge technique can be shielded by opponents, and the Whirlwind technique can be evaded. However, since the Whirlwind is formed around Amaterasu, she can chase opponents and try to catch them with it. She can still be attacked and knocked back, however. The effects of both techniques don’t last very long. Alternate Skins: All Karmic Transformations from the first game. Taunts: 1. Okami jerks her head forward and upward a bit from arching and makes a big snarl. 2. Golden Fury (can be used to randomly make opponents slip and fall.) 3. Okami rolls on her back, wags her tail, and pants for a bit as flowers grow around her. _________________________________________________ And that’s about it. However, Amaterasu IS Shiranui, Reincarnated. So really, you just have Amaterasu/Ammy (Shiranui), and Chibiterasu. And of course, we can't forget Issun.

i think itd be cool if her final smash was all the brush gods coming together and using all of the brush techniques at once, and ammy (as shiranui) does the final blow by bringing out the sun

I feel she has a high chance of going in smash however I feel they would have a much more simplified gimmick. I would guess the up special flys on a flower. The down special could be a counter if you hold it or if you tap it fast it’s a burst of elemental energy that is used in order between a napalm an electric stun or snowball (in that order and you must use the attack to rotate the move) and the neutral is a 5% stroke of ink that adds a flower on the head that saps health and gives 3% to you. This way she fights faster as she’s light. Unpredictable and light but can recover health to stay in the game longer.
Would like to see Amaterasu as a playable character in Smash 6. Reasons: 1. Unique implementation of the Celestial Brush that can be implemented in Smash. 2. Another quadrupedal character other than Donkey Kong, Ivysaur, and Duck Hunt. 3. Another canine character that's not fully anthropomorphic, similar to Duck Hunt. 4. She can use her own moves from both the original Okami and Marvel vs. Capcom 3, plus biting, scratching, and kicking moves. 5. Very cool art design that combines 2D with 3D.

Wow, I didn't know that. Amaterasu's quite underrated and sure, I'm glad Okami has an HD remaster for the Nintendo Switch. Yet, I feel like Amaterasu becoming a DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would give her far more recognition and popularity. To me, it would be Amaterasu's biggest comeback of all time!

If Amaterasu became DLC and I was maining her, I would use the Cherry Bomb technique to edge guard opponents if necessary. It would be funny if I spawned a Cherry Bomb and pushed it off the stage to explode, KOing the opponent. I would impersonate Issun while saying, "Ammy you devious little doggo."

Amazing moveset. You where really creative. But anyway as for a character recommendation I would like to see a moveset for Monokuma from Danganronpa. This is a character that no one has made a moveset for in a video yet so I would like someone to make a video about his moveset. If he joined smash he will represent the Visual novels genre of video games which still has no representation in smash. And he actually has some amazing moveset potential if you get creative with the things that he has done in his series.
Amaterasu didn't even originate from Okami. She originated from Shintoism. So if we're according to Sakurai's rule, she will never be playable in Smash.
Yeah I doubt a religion would stop her from getting into smash that's like saying R.o.b couldn't be in because he was technically a real life toy and not a games character himself.
Crono from Chrono Trigger for Smash to bring in some more Squaresoft love to the fans of a brilliant rpg and would be a great representative to nintendo's snes,ds game than Square enix's Final Fantasy series and there was the latest pc port of it. He has a creative set of moves based on his playstyle including the unique battle mechanics of the game that applies to his techs that I would look forward for video of that.

I haven't beat Okami HD yet. Still, Amaterasu along with Spyro are my two most wanted characters for the remaining DLC slots. I hope this sunny furball turns out to be the Capcom rep for the Fighters Pass! Trust me, she would become my new main.

Amazing moveset. You where really creative. But anyway as for a character recommendation I would like to see a moveset for Monokuma from Danganronpa. This is a character that no one has made a moveset for in a video yet so I would like someone to make a video about his moveset. If he joined smash he will represent the Visual novels genre of video games which still has no representation in smash. And he actually has some amazing moveset potential if you get creative with the things that he has done in his series.

Amaterasu didn't even originate from Okami. She originated from Shintoism. So if we're according to Sakurai's rule, she will never be playable in Smash.
Yeah I doubt a religion would stop her from getting into smash that's like saying R.o.b couldn't be in because he was technically a real life toy and not a games character himself.
Crono from Chrono Trigger for Smash to bring in some more Squaresoft love to the fans of a brilliant rpg and would be a great representative to nintendo's snes,ds game than Square enix's Final Fantasy series and there was the latest pc port of it. He has a creative set of moves based on his playstyle including the unique battle mechanics of the game that applies to his techs that I would look forward for video of that.
