Funny how his abusive mother wouldn't take the money from the insurance company due to religious beliefs, but had no problem abusing him and letting her boyfriend abuse him. This is one reason why some men have issues with women. 🤬
I miss DMX and Aaliyah so much. I paused so many times watching him talk about her in the video. I’m so glad that X and Aaliyah are together again eternally❤♥️.
I read DMX’s book EARL and learned so much about his life. He will always be legend and It’s Dark and Hell is Hot will always be a classic Hip-Hop album. His prayers it’s trauma that he went through could be felt in so many of his songs. I still play DMX everyday so many of songs can get you through rough times
DMX was such a beautiful being and spirit, even being rough around the edges and going through his trials, his beauty still shined. One in a million! This was a well put together tribute to DMX. Big ups to you as usual ❤
I once heard a story about him taking a group of women to his hotel room to what they thought was going to be a party but he prayed over them. He was very spiritual n that was a problem for the elites smh
Like Aaliyah‘a death , X’s death was a hard one. His talent and presence was unmatched. And it wasn’t until after his death did I have a better understanding of him. He was trying to turn his life around, make amends, and get back to what he loved doing before his demise. Through it all his faith never wavered. And even though he led a reckless life, people still respected him because he was genuine. You could see the love from the out pouring of support and admiration after his death. His send off was beautiful. Befitting of an icon. Now he’s finally able to rest🕊️
Earl Simmons is such a great man I learned so much from him, his firey passion, his sorrow, his rage... such a complex man. and as a rapper I admire him for not going for the money and glitz but the art. I admire him for not only truly loving Aaliyah. but for always respecting her. never sexualizing her. every single album I bought in the stores, I hung pictures on my wall of X, he is very close to my heart and I will always name him as my favorite rapper 31 over all. rest in peace X, I hope you find baby girl and both of you are happy with grandma Halloway together.
Man, that Versuz battle between him & Snoop was EVERYTHING! I felt adrenaline watching the entire thing. Felt like I was there experiencing it all. I was too young to experience X shows, but that battle compensated missing out on concerts🙌🏾
I always laugh when people say there needs to be more diversity, because back then everybody was different but we still all rocked with each other. It was natural and unforced how it is now. DMX with HOV, Marilyn Manson and Limp Bizkit, Gwen Stefani with Bounty Killer, way too many others to name. Look at how that crowd felt with X on stage. Those actually were the good old days.
My parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, and I was raised in the religion. I have never heard of them not accepting settlement proceeds from an accident/case. I am so glad he was able to rise and thrive despite his unfortunate/abusive childhood. His talents, resilience, and kind heart are the main reasons why I respect and admire him. Continue to Rest in Peace DMX, aka Earl Simmons 🙏🏼🤗🕯🕊🥰
This was so well done and professional. You touched on so many things that I never knew about DMX and he’s in my top 5 favorite rappers. Thank you so much for the hard work and dedication you put into your videos.
I’m so glad you did (his~story) because this man is and will always be a testimony to the world and he truly was a beautiful spirit A BLESSING that I got to meet him at 11yrs old handing out school supplies to our community in Chicago toughest projects that nobody would come to but he did proudly he’s FOREVER A LEGEND 🅿️R~I~P(DMX)…ENJOY HEAVEN YOU DESERVE IT🙏👑🩵🎁😇☀️🎉🎊🥰💯💯💯🩸
the end of the video made me so emotional , so much suffering and so much struggle , Im happy that he can finally have peace and rest , rest in peace to his beautiful soul , I
DMX spilled nothing but the truth when he talked about Jay-Z being president of def jam. I literally just saw a video of how Jay-Z put Rihanna on a pedestal that even Beyonce grew jealous of it, and eventually, there was "beef" between them.
I had the incredible honor to attend the Ruff Ryder/ Cash Money tour at the Phillips Arena here in Atlanta Ga back in 2000. It was a hood time!!! Seeing DMX perform was exciting for me because I always been a huge fan. Again we would crossed paths at the Barbershop in College Park about a year before he passed. He was a humble man. May he rest in peace 😢
O I went to the ruff ryders and the hard knock life one in North Carolina in 1999. And it was a amazing show and X did the prayer at the end and the crowd went silent .I was like that is amazing it was like you were going to ⛪
RIP - I miss this man. He had multiple personalities and did a lot of harm to himself and others. He also gave a lot of love to others as best he could. He was deeply troubled but now his soul is at peace.
Yet another story of what happens when adults do not give children a stable foundation: EVERYTHING else will crumble. That poor baby’s father abandoned him to chase a pipe dream and his mother abused then abandoned him too. Of course turmoil would spread later in life. My heart breaks for that child, for if his parents did better by him his life and many that he touched would look much differently.
28:50 A very important detail has been left out, and it can make a huge difference if people knew this, 1 week prior Earl Simmons went to the hospital for anxiety and depression, he was treated and released, so it would be safe to say he was given some psych meds from the hospital, it is also known he took the vaccine so he can do shows overseas, when he recieved this vaccine its not known, but they reported an overdose, and said he had a heart attack, but what did the heart attack actually come from? The shot?? The psych meds and the shot?? That could have taken him out alone, did he do drugs? That was rumored, what evidence is there?? And if he did do that was it fatal because it mixed with the psych meds and the vax in his system?? These are things to think about, RIP DMX
X was the 1st LIVING rapper to have two #1 albums in the same yr. 2pac was the 1st artist to do it with All eyez on me dropping February 96 and 7 day theory dropping November 96(1.5 months after his death). 🙏 to both legends
Fosho I luv him so much I was crushing on X when I was a teenager and when he did the movie belly and I had a chance to go to one of his concert years ago in 1999. It was the ruff ryders and hard knock life one in North Carolina!
Yes ready to meet him is definitely one of those deep songs, but X so is the song Angel on his And then there was X album the lyrics start off with “I’m calling out to you because I need your help because once again I’m having difficulty saving myself” those lyrics hit so deep to my soul. I have it on the front of my FB page because I deal with those exact words that X was saying on a daily basis
Thank You For Making This Video.. I’m a day one dmx fan and I relate to a lot of what he went Thur.. I went Thur some of the same stuff.. God Bless His Soul 🙏🏽EARL SIMMONS AKA DMX🙏🏽 life is so hard for some of us SMH 🙏🏽
Sadly enough there are many individuals. You could do the unfortunate demise series on. Whitney Houston, Kobe Bryant, Selena Quintanilla, Mac Miller, Michael Jackson, Prince, Amy Winehouse, Heath ledger, Anna Nicole Smith,Princess Diana and so many more unfortunate souls that have died way too young.
@@spongebob03 yes, the fact that all these people had troubled stuffs around them just show how wicked this industry is. Nobody should touch or try to enter Hollyweird ...
I loved DMX, no one can ever duplicate that sound it was just raw and honest.
❤❤❤
Aaliyah really made some of the biggest gangstas cry! She was a real deal angel
I have never clicked a video so fast!
RIGHT! Lol
I Agree 💯 Percent!
Exactly lol
Right
Me too
DMX wasn't a bad person if you think about it. He just grew up in a bad situation. And it molded him. R.I.P
His mom was brutal, his dad, absent.
All that talent lost😢
Man needs a damn oscar for these! 🏆🏅🥇
Yesssss!!!!
The passing of Aaliyah, really affected him now they are reunited.
Funny how his abusive mother wouldn't take the money from the insurance company due to religious beliefs, but had no problem abusing him and letting her boyfriend abuse him. This is one reason why some men have issues with women. 🤬
Agreed.
Dmx and Tupac are my top favorite rappers.both are different and extremely gifted but told similar messages to the masses.
I’m literally crying ! This is the only video that actually showed who DMX really was beside his crimes
DMX and Aaliyah’s death hit me different. Two of my favorite artists just gone in the blink of an eye. Gone too soon…
At least DMX live to see 50
Earl Was A Rose That Grew From The Concrete🤲🏾

Really? What’s the name please?
I miss DMX and Aaliyah so much. I paused so many times watching him talk about her in the video.
I’m so glad that X and Aaliyah are together again eternally❤♥️.
DMX transition was bitter sweet. Happy that he’s finally at rest but sad that he’s actually gone 🌹
“It’ll be like we just went for a while without seeing eachother” 🥺🤍 Fly In Peace DMX & Aaliyah, you’re seeing eachother once again 🤍🕊️

DMX being gone... is still unreal to me 😢
Sad that’s he’s gone but his suffering is over. RIP brother 🙏🏼
That story JayZ tells is hilarious every single time. It never gets old I stg 🤣
DMX was such a beautiful being and spirit, even being rough around the edges and going through his trials, his beauty still shined. One in a million! This was a well put together tribute to DMX. Big ups to you as usual ❤
When I say that DMX was a real one!!! His love for God and knowing God was beautiful. May he rest in peace.
I once heard a story about him taking a group of women to his hotel room to what they thought was going to be a party but he prayed over them. He was very spiritual n that was a problem for the elites smh
R u dumb? LMAO
Why am i crying while watching this documentary? The man had an impact on every one
Jehovah’s witness but she abused him?? Kmt 🤬
I’m glad I was able to see him in concert 🙏🏿🙏🏿 What a wonderful experience. Thank you. RIP X

Well done!! Thank you ❤
DMX save Def Jam from Bankruptcy and got 1million cash for the 2nd Album. Due to the success of the 1st project.
That's what I'm saying, as much records as he sold for def jam, how was he in debt to them?
This man was so special.
D was so talented! Amazing rapper actor and future preacher! I love all his movies. I wish he could of overpowered the cocaine demons 😢😢
Almost broke my fingassss thx u thx u JxJ ❤❤❤❤
Thank. Great video. RIP Earl❤

14:12 I remembered this and I cried seeing him reciting that poem.
They can never make me hate DMX. I hope he’s happy with Aaliyah in heaven now ❤
DMX had a good heart, despite some of his mistakes. His spirit and his energy is still with this planet. RIP 🙏🙏🙏
I love how he cover topics like this.
I was in high school when his first two albums came out. Black, White, Asian, Hispanics ALL played DMX all day everyday.
Damn his parents were losers
This was an awesome summary of the complicated and legendary life of DMX . Thank you so much

Do J DILLA Next Bro🕊️
Edit: Can't Believe How Well Put Together This Video Is, Good Job Bro💯
That'd be good. It would be interesting if he pulls some info about J's other brother, Earl. Not much known about him.
His mom was Awful😢
DMX was a real one he never look down on one one rip x
DMX spilled nothing but the truth when he talked about Jay-Z being president of def jam.
I literally just saw a video of how Jay-Z put Rihanna on a pedestal that even Beyonce grew jealous of it, and eventually, there was "beef" between them.
What’s the name of the video
That’s not true. They admitted it years later that they made publicist put that to help Rihanna’s career.
A video on Pimp C would be good
YES!
I definitely needed to listen to this today, because I too feel like I won’t be free or at peace until I’m dead and gone…….
I knew this video was gonna be the one to get me 🥺 Fly High Dark Man X 🕊️ amazing video!! 💜

Miss X. Most genuine person in an unforgiving world.

DMX is one of my favorite rappers of all time! ❤
