I remember they nerfed damage boost to not apply on Hanzo's ultimate because it went through Transcendece and now it doesnt matter anymore
They did it with junk tire and dva bomb too. But that was bc mercy got insane ult charge for boosting it.
@@shanem8957 Not sure why, Mercy should be allowed to have things like this, it separates the good Mercy players from the bad ones, yet Blizzard only ever seems to remove skill expression from her.
@@bigfudge2031 the issue is when she could get valk every fight sometimes more than once. They would have to increase the ult cost to balance it.
@@shanem8957They could have just massively nerfed Valk duration but decreased the cost to make it more like a tracer pulse bomb where you earn it often but have little impact, it would make Mercy a much more fluid character.

health packs are not affected by dps passive because they apply cleanse effect: you can remove Ashe burn, widow's venom mine effect by using them as well.
Don’t cleanse hack or slows tho
It doesn't cleanse Ana's anti-heal or JQ's rampage, which are probably the most similar debuffs to the DPS passive.

Genji deflecting a Moira damage orb is kinda strong if that orb is deflected into a good position, right? It'll constantly be applying the dps passive if it's floating around and touching the enemy.
You're overthinking it a bit too much, the passive it's that strong. Bastion can shoot 300 bullets at the enemies and constantly apply the passive, yet he is one of the worst DPS right now (as he always should be)
@@bigfudge2031when i play genji, deflecting the orb is exactly what i look for when targeting moira. i either end up healing myself to continue fighting her or i get a purple orb to kill her faster (plus dps passive incase i miss) it’s redundant, but still

If they ever want to adjust how this passive works in the future, I had an idea that maybe it could be a 10% reduction that’s stackable so a double focused target ends up taking 20%… I have no idea how balanced that would feel but it could be fun to play with target focus incentives like that

Personally I would make it ramp up/down based on damage, so you just don't swipe an entrire enemy team with Mei to get everyone debuffed, while heroes like Cassidy cannot do that.
to be honest the dps passive should be reworked right now. The Dps passive Deleted Tanks from the game right now. you cant play a non dive tank cause you get shred in 1 second as a TANK and this isnt even a joke. The Powercreep is just insane with this aswell, personaly they should have changed the damage in the game instead of giving more health to everyone and then lose on 20% healing.
@@alainpavek693This exactly. Heroes with less damage and fast fire rate would increase it in a linear fashion while those with higher damage and a slow fire rate would increase it in a burst. Then after a second of not taking damage from a DPS the effect would decrease back down to 0.
If they do ever add an icon to show that you're affected by the passive they could add a bar next to it that fills up, that way both you and your supports know how much their healing is gonna be reduced.

Moira doesn’t “Lifesteal” per se, it’s a set 20HP per second and is not affected by damage amplifiers from allies nor damage reductions from enemies.
That kumon math be kicking in with these calculations
the way moira orb goes through lw platform, you can try genji deflecting rein's fs, same as the orb when bounce once it might go through.

Does Ashe's dynamite apply the -20% healing to her if she hits herself with it? Pharah doesn't, but dynamite might work differently since it applies burn.

In regards to the moira orb bug, if you throw the orb at the floor, will it bounce and penetrate the platform? or does it need to bounce specifically off of the platform twice for the bug to work?

yes, because they are considered "pets" so it's basically an extension of the character meaning you did the dmg meaning you get the lifesteal, just like hanzos dragon in the video
Moira’s Biotic Grasp self-heal isn’t actually a lifesteal. It does a constant HPS if she’s dealing damage to an enemy hero, regardless of any damage modifiers. It’s affected by healing modifiers of course, but it’s not a true lifesteal like The Reaping.
so the way that the bounce of the moira orb goes through life weaves peddle. if you deflect a fire strike does it go thorugh it?

i dont think the reduction applies overhealth, as its not really healing and just straight up adding hp to the current health pool

4:48 confused by Kiriko's suzu: does this mean the suzu will first remove the dps debuff since it gives a full 80hp but without considering it a debuff so not 110hp? I would've expected suzu to only heal 64hp if the debuff was still in effect.
Can you test if all healing after suzu does NOT get debuffed also?

from what i understand, suzu clenses the dps passive but doesn't consider it a traditional debuff/negative effect like anti nade or burning (maybe it's because it's a passive or something idk) so if kiriko suzus someone affected by dps passive, it removes the passive, doesn't give bonus hp for removing a debuff, then all healing returns to normal on suzud heroes

Ana’s anti nade doesn’t reduce healing by 100% it makes it so you can’t be healed aka healing can’t touch you. Dps passive reduces healing by 20%. That’s why health kits can’t be picked up when hit by anti.

Can you apply the DPS passive to multiple targets from one DPS? So your Sombra or Tracer with spread, and your bullets hit multiple enemies; will they all receive the debuff or just the last one shot?

Projectile size changes mythbust: did non-damaging projectiles like sombra translocator also get affected by the increase in proj size?
I wonder if you pick up a hacked health pack, do you get the 20% debuff? That technically counts as Sombra's heal, so it might work differently than an unhacked.

If the Moira's orb after bouncing would pass through the platform, would deflect do the same? How after two deflects?
Curious if the DPS passive can be applied to multiple enemies at once by the same dps or if it will cancel early on target 1 if target 2 is damaged before the timer finishes. Also, if two DPS are damaging the same enemy does the debuff timer from the first attacker get cancelled out by the second? e.g Cass hits a target and then 1 second later Ashe hits the target. Will the debuff be applied for 3 seconds or 4 seconds?
yes a dps can apply it to multiple people at once. its not discord orb. that being said, the timer doesnt "stack" it reset with each most recent dps damage applied to the person, and it will keep resetting until the dps stops proc-ing it
Does the dps passive work on the global healing passive and on the payload healing?
Was the last thing always the case? I feel like you used to be able to block soldier heals with bubble but maybe it was just LOS.
The reason also why the health pack works normally, is because the Health Pack IS a Cleanse at the same time. Just like when you walk into a health pack after burning, you'll stop burning.

i was wondering a few things
1. if genji deflects mauga, does he get the crit damage once the target is on fire?
2. if genji is discorded and deflects, does he do the extra damage?
3. what is the most damage you can do with one ability in a realistic setting? like if you have a bap, mercy and another bap (echo copy) does the damage stock?
1. Yes, the crit mechanic is built into the projectile so he does get auto crits vs burning targets
2. No. Damage amplified from discord is applied when the damage is done
3. Multiple Mercy damage boost DON'T stack but multiple Bap windows DO stack, but the effect is applied once per window, so Genji deflecting it back won't trigger another boost
So DPS debuff doesn't affect healing from healthpacks. I wonder if that's because healthpacks cleanse the debuff (as they cleanse dot too).

Sombra doesn't apply any healing buff. Hacked health packs respawn faster and can't be used by enemies, but the healing remains the same

Do HOTs (ie single moira hand spray) snapshot when applied? Do they keep healing 100% if applied to a target before the dps passive is applied or do they update with each buff/debuff application? I assume the latter bc of how biotic grenade works.
Do DOTs snapshot? Or do they update with each buff/debuff applied? (ie Does Ashe's dynamite dmg increase if discord is applied after?)
All DOTs and HOTs are dynamic.

i think that syms lifesteal technically counts as healing on the scoreboard so i think it does
