She was clearly the best and made for this role. The clarity, range and purity of her voice is the best among the girls. She is pretty, healthy and innocent too... she just fits all the requirements.
Unpopular opinion but I actually in some cases preferred Monique's voice. Not because it's better, because obviously Lea is super talented, but Moniques voice is like the girl next door singing. It's sweet and innocent but for a lead role I completely understand and agree that Lea fit the part better. Lea's voice also has innocence and youth to it, but it's more polished
