That was fantastic, Great song written by you, and HOW did you do the Suno
Mucis thing? Really, could you write up a few paragraphs on HOW you did the Suno thing. I looked at their website, but would love to know of first hand usage. Thanks, and Good Sailing!

Hi Lisa, thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
As to Suno, first - if you are looking to do a more obscure music style, it has a hard time with that. I actually wanted this to be a sea shanty but at the time it had no idea how to do that. But, this ended up working because the more serious tone of the song played nicely with the less serious subject matter making it a little funnier to me.
As to making music in Suno:
      1) Very very very important if you want to keep the copyright of the song. You MUST sign up for the service. Even just the $10 a month one. Otherwise THEY own the copyright - not you.
      2) It helps to have some knowledge of music and writing lyrics to get you closer to what you want. Things like beats and rhythm within the lyrics will help the song sound more professional. Ie: how may syllables per line, where are the rhymes happening. You’ll notice in my song, that the rhyming doesn’t happen on every line and that the number of syllables in each line matches nicely with the others.
      3) I find that the lyrics created by the ai are pretty generic, and while they might create something interesting, it wont be very personal.
      4) If you are writing your own lyrics, then you’ll want to add prompts to them so the ai knows what you want each section to be. Ie: [intro] [verse] [chorus] [bridge] [instrumental] [outro] [end] this will give the ai a much better idea of what the structure of your song is suppose to be.
      5) You can use () next to lines that you want the background singer to sing. Ie: [chorus] She was a heart breaker (real heart breaker)
      6) Use styles of music prompts as well as:
      7) prompts like male vocals, female vocals, sad vocals, happy verse, rap verse, pop chorus
      8) since they usually only give you the first 1:30-2 mins of a song, you can start with the intro, verse chorus, verse chorus… and then add more using the add selection once you find an output that you like.
      9) I had to go through dozens of iterations to find the piece I liked and then dozens of add ons to create the full song that I liked.
      I hope this helps!!

@@realmattdean Hello, and Thank YOU for that fantastic explanation. You were very precise and I appreciate all the tips. The notes you've written were very helpful indeed. I will give it a go, with help from hubby, he's written/played music all his life, but we're in our 60s and have not kept up with the latest greatest AI. Again, Thank You very much.
