Great to have you back in Yorkshire, you're always welcome. You'd never get fed up of living beside that line. Can't beat sharing all that scenery with the family.. thanks for taking us along too. All the best Nigel.

We got the steam train from Grosmont to Goathland yesterday, which was brilliant, really enjoyed it. We waited on the bridge to see another steam train come in but just like your first one the engine was backwards but great that you caught it the right way on its return. Looked a great walk you did with the family and we did the Rail Train walk back to Grosmont, which was brilliant, cheers Alan

Hi Nigel thought I would watch this one while I wait for your new video 😃 We do love visiting stations like this on our travels. Keep the bears away from Bridie though hehe. That house you pointed out was so beautiful and so were the holiday cottages, and watching steam trains go by is wonderful, nice that you saw a few here. Great capture of that heron in flight, such gorgeous birds. This is the sort of walk that we and our kids enjoy . Thanks for the lovely tour and the photos at the end were great :) ~ Anna 👍

Hi Anna and Alf, yes lovely area for a family walk and again even though more modern history do love the old railways and stations, and seeing a steam train on a walk, also enjoy capturing wildlife on my videos which includes quite a lot on my new vid coming out next week, thanks for coming along and enjoy your day cheers nigel

I really enjoyed this one Nigel. Wow, our lines used to go through such epic scenery - all main lines now appear boring. Bridey looked to enjoy this one to. It must have been the remoteness with hardly any people not that were anti-social. Well, good times out on the lines amid the moors. Saw a few trails to. All the best as always. Mark

Hi Mark, Yes real nice scenery and as you say trails going off in all directions, pretty remote area as no through road in the bottom of the valley, just seeing and hearing a loco every now and then adds to the walk, yes this branch line needed saving as the main lines a bit boring, saying that the main line above newcastle has great views of the north sea, will be watching your latest vid later mate have a good day cheers nigel

@@nigelharness9032 Oh for sure great scenery around there Nigel. Loved it bro. Good they saved it on account of the boring mainlines save the Newcastle North Sea line. My vid? A good test walk. Peace.

Another lovely area to be walking in and sharing! Great view of the train around 4:18! Skelton Tower is pretty awesome - have you filmed it before? I feel like I have seen it in one of your other videos, but perhaps I'm mistaken.

Hi Marti, Yes real nice day walking and filming the steam trains, and nothing wrong with your memory Skelton tower has been featured before an old shooting lodge built in the 1800s, filmed on my hole of horcum walk, cheers for coming along and enjoy the weekend cheers nigel
