More 3 peaks training as we tackle Pen-y-ghent and Plover hill, spectacular Drone footage of Hull pot and 34067 Tangmere steam locomotive as it passes Ribblehead station
Bloody hell how do you do the 3 peaks one day and then Pen-y-ghent the next day.....I keep saying I ant to do this peak and hopefully now the good weather has arrived (at last) I may well do this summer. Shame that rain had to fall but typical for the weather we have had this year. Couple of nice waterfalls on the route mind and hopefully you get better weather the next time, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, i dont know either LOL, he didnt start out to do it all but just kept going and did the whole route in less than 9 hrs wow, ye a nice one to do with a bit of scrambling, worth visiting hull pot as well, ye hopefully the weather is kind when we finally get to walk the whole route, cheers for coming along nigel
Hi Richard, the countdown begins, the rain didnt dampen our spirits, Jons drone footage excellent, was another great day out see you up there very soon cheers nigel
Hi there, pleased you enjoyed the video and of course the Steam loco going past Ribblehead station, thanks for watching, ps more Steam trains in the next vid as heading to the NYMR very soon, cheers nigel
Hi Bruce, ye we was hoping to get to the summit before the clouds and rain moved in but not fast enough LOL, the drone views were amazing, thanks for watching cheers nigel
Hi Nigel I do enjoy your videos seeing parts of England that I don't know. The views around hete are stunning and you can see for miles. Loved the waterfall / water pouring out from the limestone and the drone footage that Jon took was fabulous. Shame about the rain though but that was some good training done. Great to see the steam train too 😃 ~ Anna 👍
Hi Anna, ye think you would love it in the Yorkshire dales very unspoilt, apparently the 60 foot deep hull pot can completely fill with water, ye more great training done not long now, and Jons drone footage is wonderful, thanks for staying the distance and seeing the train, just made it a perfect day, enjoy your weekend cheers nigel
A decent start but it rolled in quick there Nige. I think the fells/mountains have a special vibe in them conditions. And hey it may not be all sunshine during your challenge so a good training session. Loved that sink hole. All the best. Mark
Hi Mark, your so right could encounter any weather on the day of the challenge, moody weather up in the fells is a special time, ye lovely sink hole and another great training session, hope the weather improves cheers nigel
@@nigelharness9032 That's right Nige - be ready for anything - moody vibes and all. Yeah, how old is that hole? Very old! Here's to more training and good weather.
just a quick google on hull pot, its a collapsed cavern seems 1st mentioned in the 18th century, all that rain in the area keeps changing the landscape mate seeing its limestone county
