Though Kamala Hasan is his pet student of the so-called "Balachandar School", He never commented or praised Kamala Hasan as such. He made such a comment referring to her performance in His Another movie 'Agnisakshi'(Telugu) Agni Satchi (Tamil)(This movie is available on UA-cam). In this film she played the role of a married woman affected by Schizophrenia. The reason given by the Director for her praise is that, in a important scene, he shoots in close up continuously for five minutes capturing her facial expressions. He said there is none to act in such shot expect Saritha. Atleast I didn't have courage to shoot such a scene with anyone in the film field I Know. Please watch the movie and comment.
