Question of the Day 💡What do you think of the Canon EOS R? Let us know! ****** Check Out the Canon EOS R RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM Kit HERE ➡ canon.us/sean
I'm also using Canon EOS R right now for my youtube and its great. i do have one complain about the in-body image stabilization which this camera doesn't have other then that its amazing.
@@thejohnnylaw What's the point of taking a full shot on a CANON R camera? CANON R shoots 4K video with a crop factor of 1.74 times. Let me remind you that the image will be even smaller than the crop matrix 1.6!
Great video Sean! Thanks so much! I’m using the EOS R for all of my vlog style shots, talking head shots and most of my B Roll. I’m using 2 EOS Rs, a Canon 7D, and 2 GoPro 9s for live performance videos. I’ll also grab any additional B Roll that I might need with my iPhone if my other cameras are already set for the gig/shoot.
Dude, this was such a great and easy to follow video. I picked up the Canon R with the RF 50mm 1.8 recently. Love how you broke everything down with the easy to shoot FPS and resolution.
I need Nolan &/or Omar to do more videos on how to adjust my camera settings in the Sony ZV1… I mistakenly recorded in high resolution & it became a HUGE file. Took up too much space on my camera, SD card & MacBook/iMovie. Plus, Cathrin Manning mentioned editing off the external drive instead of the hard drive. She said she didn’t know how to explain it. PLEASEEE do a video on that too I must admit, I loooove the way Sean is talking slow for us newbies! Lol much appreciated Y’all videos are soooo helpful!!!!
This video was perfect, exactly what i was looking for. I use an r3 for sports photography but figured with all that video capability that i shouldnt let it go to waste. This video was a great guide to get started with that.

FAVORITE UA-cam CHANNEL HANDS DOWN!!! Man I love and enjoys yalls content so much. If there’s one YT Channel I can’t live without it’s y’all. Thank you Sean and the whole Think team. Just found out y’all are still hiring, and listened to your last podcast on Spotify, I’ll be applying today after my current job! Keep up the amazing work and positive messages 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼
Hi! This is very helpful video! One question. In 3:08-15 you use handheld grip with your EOS R. Could you please recommend any or say which one do you use in the video?
I'm looking into buying a DSLR but it seems like a lot for my small channel so, for now, I'm using my iPhone 11 Pro Max. It gets the job done! Great tips and a solid vid!
I started with the Sony ZV1, then bought the Canon EOS R. I love the quality and price point so much that I added a 2nd EOS R to my studio. Great review - thank you for making this post!
No, you *don’t* need money to be successful on UA-cam. You *don't* need to have expensive cameras and lighting to look good. You *don't* need 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch time to start making money. You *don't* have anything to lose so just *START!* 💪🏻
Wow, thank you soo much for this. I have been searching for how to set my beginner camera for optimal use and I have not been able to find such content. Thank you so much for sharing , now I can enhance my videos and I have learnt a lot from this video.
That was awesome Sean, I've got the EOS RP and I arrived here searching up how I can use it to replace my DJI Action cam to shoot my UA-cam channel videos. I'm sure it would be much better quality.
Sean, I just bought a used Canon M50 Mark II camera from a friend. I've upgraded because #1. The camera was available for a great price (it also included a FeiyuTech G6 Max Gimbal, a handheld/table gimbal; an extra lense; 5 batteries; a battery charger; a shadow cap for the lense; a Deity V-mic D4 Duo microphones (with the foam covers and the dead cat covers); a camera backpack bag; and a few other goodies. #2 The money came available from an annual continuing education/equipment upgrade allowance. #3. I rewarded myself for having achieved 500+ subscribers on my channel because I had been using my iPhone7 to get my channel off the ground. I just made a test video last night for the first time and my wife and two sons who saw it were very impressed.
I already started my channel and think media have really inspired me to keep shooting and make more videos .(just about to make my 7th video have a lot to learn ) thanks 😊
Hi Sean, I have just bought the EOS R with the 24/105 f4 lens. I am new to videography and used to use Nikon for previous photography so Iam having to convert to canon controls ! Thank you for this video.
Thank you for this video! I'm a personal branding photographer and want to try to see about adding small video clips. Although I might see about outsourcing editing.
This is a great tutorial. I’m in the market for a new camera and binge watching all your camera videos. I was thinking of buying this one but it’s not on your list for favorite UA-cam cameras in a previous video. Now I’m torn😬😅 so many choices!
