Bicycling Wisconsin's Red Cedar State Trail (August 8, 2023)

We decided to do a short three-day trip to ride three different Wisconsin Rails to Trails. Our first stop was in Menomonie Wisconsin to ride the Red Cedar State Trail. We had ridden this trail some years ago and were struck by its remoteness and beauty. Our original intent was to do a three-day tour, but my initial scouting had the Chippewa River Trail being in very poor condition and most people did not recommend riding it fully loaded with gear. It turned out that the Chippewa River Trail was not that bad (video to come) and we could have easily done a tour. It was definitely a picture-perfect day for a bicycle ride on a beautiful trail.
