For anyone wondering, this does not do anything, default settings have as close effect to these little changes that you will not even notice any fps boost. If the game doesn't do well on lowest graphics possible, and your laptop power settings set to max, then search for another game to play with what you have.

The guide shown in his video is not going to likely improve your fps. Most likely would happen is the game would look more lower quality than it should be but no difference. I have tested it on Intel HD 3000 and it happens. So please, if you want to really want to improve fps, you should check your laptop temperature if it's overheating because that reduces fps and make sure to set power settings to the max.
