If they start banning people for teabagging that just signifies we’ve reached the softest generation of gamers to date
I hope we get more small events that can randomly happen to boats it would just spice up travel a lot more
what about fortified sea forts?
Would honestly love them to just speed up world event cooldowns and rotate the spawn areas for NPC enemies. A new enemy type or some fresh sea beasts would be nice because right now, my activity on SoT really is just the same thing over and over.
Do a few voyages, hit up a fort and / or dungeon in-between, treasure hunt, etc., repeat. Sometimes I don't even see a skelly sloop or a meg, I can go for hours and realize that none of the PvE events have happened. I'll run into more players than I do skeletons.
@@wxl2562 Yeah and trying to find specific events is like trying to find a needle in the haystack. The gifts from non raid skele forts are near impossible to get now.

They've literally just posted a teaser showing a Dragon Fruit style fruit being cooked, followed by a shot of your mermaid swimming away. In one of the siren journals shown in this video, it talks about a THORNY issue of keeping Sirens away! I think this fruit will allow us to dismiss our mermaid on islands, so tuckers won't be revealed as easily.

Why would we need anti siren repellant? They barely spawn in the ocean to warrant it!
I still long for a new world event where you can fight many sea treats like Kraken+Megalodon+boarding Ocean Crawlers, that last one seems to be very underused
I loved the sandbox changes in Season 12, looking forward to more! New stealth stuff and the harpoon gun looks fun!
Don't get why they are adding this new content that nobody has asked for. We want server stability improvements and bug fixes more than anything. All this new content is just adding to the problem. Harpoon gun is going to be a big mistake next season
I just hope the harpoon gun is something you have to pick up and ONLY use.. while if you want to use your guns, you have to drop the harpoon gun. Similar to horn of winds
@@NXGHTOFFICIALThat would still be bad, imagine getting boarded, blundered, and then sniped with an eye of reach in just a matter of seconds. Or worse, imagine multiple people who have that set up boarding you. All of this would be solved if the grappling gun just wasn’t a thing.
The big problem of this game is Hacks, bugs , bad optmization and Server instability
And what happens when they do a season with only these technical updates? It’s still not good even thought they do what y’all want cuz you’ll find a way to hate it
I have no problems with the game as all ps5 just blue screens but that happens to PlayStation
So many issues, better bring out new content for more bugs.. I mean features.
Harpoon gun may very well ruin the game. Honestly it's an idea that should have been scrapped the second it was suggested. Naval is already nearly useless in SoT, this is just going to incentivize board-spamming even more. If they insist on having it, it should only be for movement on islands and grabbing loot. Guaranteeing a free board without the ability to defend against it is just ridiculous.
it will probbably be mid range and low ammo + with the bear traps being all over enemies ship i dont think it will be that bad
@@lloydcz1184 Huhhhh? Who cares about the ammo(which is 5 shots btw), you only need one to literally guarantee a board. And the range is ridiculous, did you even watch the dev preview of it?
Imagine what cheaters can do with these traps....

man there are SO many things this game is in need of rn, cosmetics aren't one of them
@@chowster117a lot of the (good) cosmetics are paid, though. Plus, cosmetics could really benefit by being divided into colored options, or just give players the ability to dye their clothes. A lot of the cosmetics are identical, but in different colors, which takes up a lot of menu space and is sore on the eyes. When there's an easy solution to that problem.
Granted that's also just a huge issue with the menu navigation and the way the UI is designed, an update to how cosmetics work in-general would be nice and there is a lack of cosmetics for a few categories. Which will prob be coming next season, but we don't know how many cosmetics it'll really bring or what they'll look like.
Sea of Thieves has the same appeal that Destiny and other MMO games does, a lot of players do view SoT as a "fashion" game and enjoy having a lot of cosmetic options that aren't locked behind a battle pass or their digital in-game storefront.
People just want to play dress-up. :)

Guys, dont worry about the harpoon gun.
It just means people who shouldnt be boarding you now are going to be able to next season. This means they are EASY kills as their skill is much lower, plus they will essentially only have 1 weapon when they board.
They'll be easy kills boys. Then the enemy crew is x1 man down. Meaning they just gave you the advantage XD
Okay so since season 13 was the Reaper’s season and they got the Blade, maybe season 15 will be an Athena’s season where they awaken (hence ‘Sleep’) a great creature from the depths to take down Flameheart once and for all. Maybe this could even lead to an event like Golden Sands that truly makes the community feel involved.

Stop with the darts, stop adding stupid weapons no one uses, stop nerfing and changing weapons, and just fix the damn game instead. They are constantly dumbing down the game. Harpoon gun etc all horrible. I'm good with a 6 month season if you all can just fix the damn game instead of putting lipstick on a pig.
Yeah the new weapons they added literally did nothing in the PvP meta side of things.
That single Blunderbuss Nerf changed more the meta then the new weapons and these upcoming ones ever will.
