Emerson bought some furniture from me . I went to his show and introduced myself in the autograph line and he walked out from behind the table and gave me and my wife a big hug . He really is a stand up awesome guy !!

I have sung this song hundreds of time on stage, but until hearing the acoustic version never really noticed how much Iignore the guitar in the song. I was struggling to hear it through the lesson so I went and watched the video you referenced. Then I went and watched the studio recording. I key almost entirely off of the base and drums when singing it. Even in the intro when there is only guitar, I am still just feeling the count and not really hearing the guitar.
No wonder I can't play guitar and sing at the same time.My timing for both are keying off of the rythym section so I am trying to time two different things without hearing them in relationship to each other. It all makes sense now.
