- We took this footage at our roadtrip through Namibia in October 2022. We have been to Etosha National Park, Skeleton Coast, Cape Cross, Walvis Bay, Namib desert, Sandwhich Harbour, Dune 7, Solitaire, Sesriem (Deadvlei and Sossuvlei Dunes), Kolmanskop, Lüderitz, Fish River Canyon, Kalahari and several Lodges & Campsites. The most impressive campsites were Hobatere and Bagatelle. Our rental car was a Nissan NP-300 4WD (4 Low) with double tank, double spare wheel, camping equipment and a roof tent.

Looks like a great trip. How long was the trip in days, and would you change anything
We had only 12 days which was enough time but required a lot of driving. We liked it this way, but for others it might be good to spend two more days. I would defenitly suggest to stay a little bit longer in etosha (eg. 2 days). You can spot so many animals there and the area is quite big. To safe time you can also leave out the road down the skeleton coast and take a quicker connection down the south to walvis bay. It was interesting to see this remote area, but it looks pretty similar for hours :)
Hoi zame ! Really Nice vlog that you‘ve uploaded Right there.
Just got a couple of questions. How much did the car rental cost through the whole journey ? how long (in days) was the whole Trip ? And could you please give us the website where you rented it ?
Thank you very much!
We used Zambezi Car Rental | 4x4 Hire | Windhoek Namibia. You will find the according prices on their website: www.zambezicarrental.com/
We stayed 12 days in Namibia (link to route is in the description). 12 days were not that much time, so we had to drive quiet a lot in between. If possible it makes sense to stay longer or shorten the route.
Keep in mind to pre-book early enough if you travel there in the peak season. Although you may not see a car for hours, the campsite hotspots are well booked at some places (Etosha, Sossuvlei and some very good Game Ranches like the Bagatelle Game Ranch). If you prefer to stay flexible it's also possible by just approaching more distant ones.
I wish you much fun! Namibia is great to explore! Don't leave out the eastside of Etosha and the sandwhich harbour starting at Walvis Bay ;)
@@badcaptaintrx thanks a lot for all the Information. Means a lot 🙏🏿
Nice trip, how did you find your camp sites? I’m not finding many online trying to plan my trip
thanks 🙏 , I used google maps and searched for for the terms lodge, campsite and game ranche. this way i could find the opportunities
Amazing experience... How much was the itenary for 12 days.?
thank you 🙏 yes, the whole trip took us 12 days. Some days we did a lot of driving, so if you like a slower pace, it's worth staying longer.
Awesome video! What happened to your leg and where did you get medical treatment? :O
Thank you! I jumped down from too high and tore my miniscus. The private clinics are real good in Namibia so I got rather quick a rail and walking sticks for the last two days 😅
Lovely content. You can also try Botswana
thank you very much 🙏😊 Yes indeed, Botswana seems like a great travel destination. It's definitely on our bucket list. If you have any suggestions regarding places in Botswana, just let us know 😉
