Greetings from Poland. What a great idea. I remember your complaint about the build-up of ice on the inside of the van windscreen. I hope these screens stop this happening and prevent loss of heat during the evening and night. See you again soon
Wow! I'm glad you got out of lockdown. Here in Los Angeles, we are still suffering through it on September 2nd! Being an "online teacher" is no fun at all! Although looking at all those extra screens, I must say I've found a renewed appreciation for our warm weather and modest rainfall!
We are thinking of adding these screens now it's getting colder - as we have exactly the same van (except our is orange), could we use your measurements? We'renot technical and are bound to get it expensively wrong! We'll mention your channel when ordering of course.
It was Darren we dealt with and thats also him in the video and he knows about the video. I'm sure they will have our measurement details still in their file. You can refer them to our order it was in the name of Mrs Hart from Livingston. But any problems come back to me.
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot We ended up taking the van up to be measured - it turned out our measurements were completely different to yours, so I'm glad we checked. We've only had a chance to use the screens once due to Covid, but they did make a difference.
Do you have any insulation for the rear windows? Does the warmth not just disappear out of those windows if not? I appreciate any insulation is better than no insulation.
Hi Andrew, no we don't, never really thought about it, we dont notice any cold coming from the windows, the curtains are double lines so that must help a bit.
Loved the video. We are waiting on the arrival of our screens in a few weeks. Had to purchase a temporary solution in the meantime as heading off next week to the NC 500. Hope you get good use of them as the season(s) progress 👍🏼
Wee Broon Van We are using a combo of both. Feel that we owe it to the businesses to use their facilities if they are available to help get the economy back on track, but more than happy to stay off grid if this is not available. We’ve booked about 4 campsites around the route (East to West in about 9-10 days).
Screens look lovely. Love the 👀😉 We’re really pleased with our pop top too. Not been on a site yet, 2 weeks and counting 😂. Looking forward to following your adventures this season 😊
Wee Broon Van we’re booked in to do a tour of the Peak District in August. And have a weekend away in. Couple of weeks 😉. Question- is that midge screens I see on your sliding door? Where did you get them from? 😉
@@teresaemmerson9599 we ordered midge netting, called Midgie Net from website Midgie.net and made them, like making curtains for door, using binding, velcro (to attach to door) and magnetic strip. Midges can get in normal mosquito nets so this material much better. Tricia.
Hi great video, only 8 weeks now until we pick up our lunar Lenin’s. I know this is a bit cheeky but can you share the measurements that you gave Rainbow Screens for the Pop Top screen? thanks, Sean
Hi Sean, sorry can't find them but probably for the best as we did pass them on before and the pop top size was different even though some van, it was a different make or model of poptop so best if you take the measurements or get them from Lunar? Rainbow Screens should be OK with the windows, its the pop top you need to be more careful with. Measure at least twice to be sure.
Brilliant video, I have been deciding whether to get the screens as they are quite a bit of money, but they look very well made and should last a long time. Do you find the covers keep it nice and cool inside when it's very hot outside?
Morning folks, I am thinking about buying this rainbow screens, please can you tell me if it is possible and not too difficult for one person ( 73 years young ) to fit them. Many Thanks
Hi John, the window screen shouldn't be a problem, but the pop top screen would be difficult with one person, not impossible, but I would say just go with the windows screen and if its cold at night you can always bring the pop top down. Best regards. Mike & Trish.

They certainly help with the frost and when we use them we don't get any frost or condensation at all, and they look quite funky.
Thanks for the video. I just must have eyes on mine!
Thanks, and yes we love the eyes and there is a range to choose from 👍🐾💕
Great video. Can I ask, what the window screen is like in windy conditions?
Thanks, it doesn't move at all even in the strongest winds we've experienced.
Great to see you back out and about again. Those screens will make a huge difference and save of fuel come the winter. Great edit as usual. 👍
Thanks Ken, yes it means more winter outings when that time comes round again.
Loving all your vids 👍
Thanks Peter

Trish has been to LA and loved the diversity of the modern architecture, and we are somewhat jealous of the weather.
Great video, glad to see you back on the road! Could you put a link to the screens in the description? So I can check it out :D

Small world! Came looking for a rainbow screens review, I actually live 5 miles from Hebden Bridge in Todmorden. Hope you enjoyed our little valley
Sure is a small small world. We loved it😍
The Rainbow screens look great and give some insulation. Do you get enough ventilation ?
Yes, they really don't impact the ventilation and they make it nice and cozy inside.
Great to see the three of you out and about... Tell us what plans you have for the season ahead...?
What day is summer in Scotland this year.. 😂
Summer is 19th Aug apparently. Hopefully head to France and or Spain later in year for some sun.

I'm sure you will love the screens. We had planned NC500 for May but now leaving till next year. Are you using sites or wild camping?
