Greetings from Poland. A very interesting vlog. The awning is fantastic. It gives you so much more space to live in. I love the way it attaches and detaches, making using Maggie very easy. Pleaded you enjoyed "Scaggy" and had a lovely relaxing time there. Thanks for a wonderful video, especially the end bit where the three of you dismantled the awning - made me smile. See you again soon.
Ha ha, yes we did have a bit of a laugh dismantling the awning. We try to get away with it at least once a year, and its best to use it when staying a week or more on the same site.
Brilliant helpful video, thank you. Your tried and tested tips are so useful and we shall be putting these to test! Especially helpful about storm straps and we still fiddle about a bit with attaching and detaching the awning, so always helpful seeing first hand how someone else does this. Thanks very much
Great video! I am from the Netherlands and have also this awning. 1 idea: The stormstraps need to be used for stretching the tent. So the poles and the fabric and the windows are stretched with the stormstraps. This will make your awning wrinkle free. :-) Just an advise. But great demonstration. loved the celebrations from you. Thanks.
Another great video and I love your laid back style, so easy to watch. Very useful for us novices and has certainly helped me in making my mind up to get an awning. Most likely one of this make and type or very similar. Thanks for your efforts!
great video much much better than any of the companies trying to sell them as it's how anyone would actually be using it and putting it up .... love your content keep up the good work
Thanks, hopefully we will get a chance to use it later this year. We were planning the NC500 end April but now just have to wait and see how things pan out.
Wee Broon Van yes we want to do the NC500 as well but everything is now on hold. At least there are plenty of videos about our hobbies to pass the time. Stay as safe as you can and who knows maybe our paths may cross one day 👍
We've just bought one of these for our campervan and this is a very informative video. Much better than seeing the expert salesmen erecting the awning. I don't think the term "divorce in a bag" is relevant here but we shall see. Thanks.
Hi Wee Brown Van Been researching camper vans but must say I really enjoy your honest videos. Much better than the so called professional ones. Keep up the good work!
Hi Really enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work as you produce very informative videos. Love the Toyota which seems like a perfect campervan. Certainly a very good alternative to the VW.
Hi guys, just found your Chanel and love it, working my way through your videos. A little tip for the awning is to use yellow bungee cord from amazon on pegs to get van in the right place for awning. Thanks again for the videos hope your keeping safe and well.
This was the first video I watched when I was looking for an awning. Super helpful 👍 I’ve just returned from my first night away with a Vango Cove II Air. I didn’t cut the awning rail kit in advance like you did, and found it very difficult to attach the awning to the van and keep it far enough away to ensure the tunnel was taught. I notice you didn’t use a ground sheet ?
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot It will be great to get away and have a BBQ 😃 How do you find your campervan? I converted a Nissan NV200 and would like the larger Toyota Proace.
Just wanted to add i think this is the "Compact" version of the Galli III, just FYI. The Galli III has an additional space inside. Great van btw, i have the same, but LWB and not the camper version. Going to buy the Vango Galli III also, look great.
Excellent review and good tips. Just to make life easier could you put the marker pins for driving away on the drivers (offside), then the driver can just look out their window on return to line everything up again?
Hi Richard, yes you certainly could do that, but more chance they will be accidentally kicked away by someone walking by, I suppose on some pitches it would be fine.
Super nice Video. But, how did you bring back the tent to the keder strip when tent is positioned after coming back with the van? thats not clear for me - super happy for an answer. best
Corridor good space and access from both sides. Just used once and we didn't get any wind, but the storm straps are really substantial, much better than normal guy ropes. Overall very pleased with it.

Glad it was useful, we're no experts but like you say, always useful to see what someone else does👍💕🥃

Thanks for the advice, we will definitely use the storm straps the next time.

Thanks Ian, really appreciate your feedback 👍
Great demonstration of the awning. It looks very comfy and certainly provides plenty of space to relax on those longer breaks.
Thanks, hopefully we will get a chance to use it later this year. We were planning the NC500 end April but now just have to wait and see how things pan out.

Well said Andrew, couldn't have put it better!
Hi Wee Brown Van
Been researching camper vans but must say I really enjoy your honest videos. Much better than the so called professional ones. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Stuart, will do as soon as out of lockdown!
Brilliant entertaining and informative videos with lots of laughs and smiles thrown in. Comedy dog the cutest ever. Keep them coming and many thanks.
Hi Sandie, many thanks for your comments, we try to keep it fun so glad thats coming through and had a good laugh doing the comedy doggy ones 🤣
Such a good thorough review and loved the video too!
Thanks Kate 👍
Great video. Thanks. Your dog is too cute.
Thanks, she is the star of the show👍
What an awesome setup
Thanks, it's a good size for the van and ideal for a week away.
Looks great and very convenient for you ❤️
Thanks Jan 👍

Thanks for the encouragement Roger.

Thanks for the tip guys we need all we can get.Glad you found us and hope you enjoy watching 👍
Good looking rig xx❤❤❤❤
Bit of a hassle though, but good once it's up👍🐾💕

Great addition for those longer stays. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, a week or so and we would take this 👍
Great vid thanks 👍🏻
Thank you so very much👍Exactly the type review I was looking for.
Glad it was helpful Angela👍
very nice. where did you go to put top camper on your van?
Excellent video, thanks😁
Glad you enjoyed it! cheers.
Great video guys, thank you
Thanks John glad you enjoyed it 👍
Great review. I have the Vango Cove II on order which is a similar size and shape to this one. Yours has better fabric and has more windows.
It definitely makes campsite stays more enjoyable, even if putting up and down is a bit of a pain.
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot I have an Outdoor Revolution Cayman Air Midi with a single inflation point. I have ordered the Cove II because of the porch.
That will be good for having a barbecue even if it drizzles with rain
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot It will be great to get away and have a BBQ 😃
How do you find your campervan? I converted a Nissan NV200 and would like the larger Toyota Proace.
NV200 great for 1 person. We are still loving the Proace.
Great video on the awning very informative well done , can I ask where you bought the lights from that are inside the awning .
Hi Jim, got these from Asda but wouldn't recommend as they rusted quickly
Just wanted to add i think this is the "Compact" version of the Galli III, just FYI. The Galli III has an additional space inside. Great van btw, i have the same, but LWB and not the camper version. Going to buy the Vango Galli III also, look great.
Yes that's right, it's the compact version, thanks.
excellent real world review
Many thanks, we try to tell it as it is.

i like this one. plenty of room for two and your dog.
Yes its a good size, we will be posting an update about our awnings this coming week.
Very good video
Thanks Rod👍
Super nice Video. But, how did you bring back the tent to the keder strip when tent is positioned after coming back with the van? thats not clear for me - super happy for an answer. best
Hi, we put pegs in the ground at both wheels so we could get the van in exactly the same position, then just attach in exactly the same way.
Ooh.. too much for me to deal with on my own but great extra space. I’m looking for curtains that easily attach to the awning.
Good luck with that you might need to make them.
Wee Broon Van I see that you found some Thule ones
@@MamaKim. Yes, they are useful as quick to put up and don't take much room to carry👍
Would you recommend this? How do you find the connecting corridor for space and access? How does the canopy hold out in the wind?
Corridor good space and access from both sides. Just used once and we didn't get any wind, but the storm straps are really substantial, much better than normal guy ropes. Overall very pleased with it.
Wee Broon Van anything you didn’t like?
@@seanirving4640 the air poles make it a bit heavier and bulkier than a normal pole awning.
new subscriber to your channel
like the name of your van lol
Cheers Jim, thanks for the sub!
👍 x
Thanks!
