Hello from the state of Pennsylvania, U.S.A., I thouroughly enjoy your videos so much that I am starting my own pressure washing business as soon as warmer weather gets here, keep the videos coming, I'm ready for another be safe and God Bless
Hi Lee, ive been watching your videos on and off for years now, one of the best examples of pressure washing ive came across, ive 2 vans at it in Ireland, ive always used Gx390s or yanmars at 21 litres a minute with spinners to wash tiles roofs, we often put biocide on after we clean them, recently got a mazzoni hot box...do you use the heat to get the job done faster and better or just to get off the white lichen completely...if your like me you probably wo t have time to answer this, regards Darragh from Spooners Cleaning Co. Tipperary
Impressive Lee, I better get with the program, what temperature is needed as the mazzoni seems to be a pig on diesel..I bought it for to be able to work during hard frost to be honest..
This is amazing. I'm looking into buying an industrial steam cleaner running at 150 degrees. Do you believe the steam cleaner could remove carbon sulphation? thanks
It's a very rare occasion. Mostly a tile will fall if it's already split and the moss was holding it in place then slides once washed. We inspect any damage to tiles, ridges, valley's and eaves before we start on the day or at quoting stage and most roofs require repairs anyway so it's organised either by us or the customer. We always ensure customer knows of broken tiles and we then send them photos or on the odd occasion have taken them up in our cherry picker.
Yes, hot pressure washing. Otherwise referred to as steam cleaning. You know, like we call it football and you call it soccer. Like we call it wanking and you say jacking off.
That's your opinion. Other people don't want all the organic growth on their roof and they may not want to pay to have a new roof. Would love to see the state of your house.
@@BlastAway I agree it is a matter of opinion, especially as many people have no taste or are ignorant. My house has a mixture of Welsh slate and Scotch slate pitched roofs and lead flat roofing and I have good experience of all their issues. Weathering is not one of them.
@@BlastAway My roof does get weathered! I'm saying it's not an issue. The only thing you need to do is brush off moss if it blocks ridge guttering or flashing.
Loose the music. You need to talk about what you are doing and why you are doing it the way you are doing it. The comment section is full of questions because you are not explaining your process. Are you here to teach, or to create music videos?
I'm not here to teach. That's why my subs numbers are low. I'm not here to learn people how to take my work. Most of my videos are hosted on UA-cam for entertainment and for the purpose of showing the next potential customer what we can do for them. So if you're here to learn what we do you're very fuckin mistaken my friend.
So where does all the dirt go, I can't be the only one thinking its being blasted off and the whole neighbourhood is covered in little particles of dirt ...

Hi Darragh, yes we definitely use heat on those lichens. Softened up first with SH.
We apply biocide at end of roof cleaned to kill spores etc.
Impressive Lee, I better get with the program, what temperature is needed as the mazzoni seems to be a pig on diesel..I bought it for to be able to work during hard frost to be honest..
@darraghspooner9824 We don't run the boilers on diesel. We use Kerosene. It burns cleaner and hotter. Better for the coil as doesn't soot up as fast.
Goodman thanks for the tip, wishing you all the best this year Lee
WOW AMAZING VIDEO VERY ENTERTAINING TO WATCH
Very impressive, whats the steam cleaning machine that you're using?
Do you have to repoint any of the joints on the ridges after you clean
Yes, ridges are being repointed on this one.
We did the ridges on the house nextdoor too after we cleaned that one too.
@@BlastAway cool I take it it's the same with the valleys and verges if needed .great job by the way class operators
Do you guys build those carbon fiber poles or are they sold with the hose and such built into them?
NICE JOB
60 degrees?
27 liters per minute?
turbo nozzle? `
150 bar 300 bar?
regards chris from denmark
How many psi are you using in this video?
It looks better than brand new. Does it need biocide to prevent moss coming back?
What kind of truck are you using and what is that called if you dont mind me asking?
Nice drone footage. What is the large oval structure in the neighbours yard?
Not too sure but could be an indoor hydrotherapy pool etc
@@BlastAway well you should go find out. I want to know and Texas is too far away for me to go look.
What sort of steam cleaner you using for this? Maybe a vid on your equipment?
Give me a few minutes, check back on the channel. I will publish a video that I did for somebody.

How come roofs in England became dark after some years?
Very wet place. Mixture of various biological growth and some say even jet plane pollution
This is amazing. I'm looking into buying an industrial steam cleaner running at 150 degrees. Do you believe the steam cleaner could remove carbon sulphation? thanks
No pal. You will need HF based acid mix or abrasive blasting
@@BlastAway thanks for the reply keep up the awesome work
Why is that roof so dirty. Can't be just from the fallout of air. Must be industry near by?
That's normal for the UK
Did you post treat the roof with anything? cheers
Yeh we apply our biocide called Stay Away. Available from our website.
@@BlastAway thanks, sorry for pestering you, I really appreciate your work and help 👍🙏

Is that steam pressure washing? Does not look like a regular steam machine to me.

Were these roofs haunted or what?
You guys in Manchester area
Spoted you in the van other week worsley way

Pointless exercise. Roofs get weathered; it's natural and even looks better.

Lee, how long did the whole job take? Hope Santa was good to you and yours.
2 and half days on this one including all the paving around the house
missed a bit.
That house is HUGE!
