Mikhaila Peterson, a 27 year old mother of one, runs the blog “Don’t Eat That”. She was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at age 7, severe depression at age 10 and idiopathic hypersomnia at age 21. She had multiple joints replaced at age 17. After years of research trying to solve her autoimmune problems, she went paleo/low carb and eventually ended up on the beef, salt and water diet which resolved her conditions. She’s now off of all medications and in complete remission.
unfortunately, not every patient responds to that.....
Sounds too good to be true
I love you ladies, thank you for this.
Thanks for watching!

I was diagnosed with Sjogrens in August/2022. Started having symptoms in 2021.
Just this week diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands.
Hi, I hope you find a good rheumatologist!

Respected Doctor Dr. Furlan
After watching your this Vlog I felt that I am a student in the medical College and two teachers are teaching about various aspects about rheumatology in a classroom 😊
Thanks to both of you for delivering useful information on social platform 🙏
I'm glad to hear that. And I think @rheumatologistoncall will be happy to see this comment too.

thank you
thank you so much for your invitation, @drandreafurlan
You are always welcome!
That was a very interesting discussion. Indeed, 27 years ago when I was diagnosed with dermatomiositis, we didn't know almost anything about many of the autoimmune diseases. It is so encouraging to see new doctors as you to treat patients holistically and not just one part. Thank you for the information.

Thank you so much for this video! If you permit, may I refer to this video in my next video on my channel? My blood test shows signs of RA as my fingers have been swollen since January. I will see a Rheumatologist later in April.

Thank you so much for this posting. It is full of wonderful information. I do have a question. There was a little bit of talk about pain with menopause. I am in perimenopause and have been experiencing tendonitis in multiple areas in my body. I have been to see a specialist and they just say it's "age" and gave a cortisone injection and recommended physical therapy. Neither one of those are helping. I'm 46, 120lbs, don't smoke, drink alcohol or caffeine and pretty much do the 80/20 when it comes to nutrition. Any suggestions?

My Son was diagnosed with Stills dease last month. What's the best way to get him out of his flare? Thank you.
Hello from Italy, I have arthtitis in my hands at times my fingers block and I have to straigten them up with my other hand. What can I do ? My thumbs hurt are cortisone injections useful to Easter the pain ? Thank you

How do you manage eating more whole foods and fibers to help PsA, Sjogrens, Ménière’s, etc. when you also have Crohn’s and struggle with those foods?
That is a good question! Maybe next time I will invite a dietitican.
@@DrAndreaFurlanthat would be great!!! I struggle with gastroparesis so my diet mostly veggies and fruit but no fiber. Would be awesome to see a dietician point of view, Thank you!!!
Do you see any relation between having Caffey’s disease as a child and autoimmune diseases as an adult?
Thank you for your comment. That is a good question/suggestion for a future video.
Sjogrens seems to keep having new diagnosis every couple of months. Why?
I am not sure why. I'll see if Dr. @rheumatologistoncall can answer this question.
Thank you. I will ask him. The Neurologist told me this week. I have hand pain, Nuckels hurt, drop things, I have to be care what my Nuckels touch etc. I see my Rheumatologist the middle of this month.
Thank you for all your videos & education.
