As I understand it, Green Berets for the most part are more capable in long term campaigns including influence operations and organizing local forces into more professional forces so that they can stand on their own as an asset in theater. SEALs are the ones you call if you want someone snatched and grabbed, cuffed and stuffed or just plain smoked. :) Correct me if I am wrong, I often am. ( You may need to teach me the updated version that the WOT produced, on second thought, I think you guys were doing the same things in that theater.)
