In today's video I am going to do a walk through tour of our Runaway Campers 2019 Range Runner Camper. In this video, I keep referring to the camper company as "Range Runner" in truth, the model camper we owned is a "Range Runner" and the company which manufactures them is Runaway Campers.
We had purchased this camper with the intent of taking a 4 to 6 month road trip across America. I had spent the past 3 months doing a number of modifications and upgrades to the camper but after was all said and done, and some last minute life changes, we decided to instead upgrade our camper to a larger more live in able set up.
However, before actually letting it go by selling it, I thought the Range Runner community might appreciate a video to showcase some of the modifications we put in the camper.
Included are a number of modifications including Solar Panels, a MaxxAir Fan and MaxxAir passive vent. Thanks to @charlesmoman for his vids on this install!
Thanks to @ericenjoysearth2756 for the table ideas and suggestions!
I built our beds by my own plans and designs.
I included our Jackery 500 and thanks to @PlayingwithSticks for their suggestions on heaters and thermostat controls.
I hope you find the video helpful as you pursue your own small camper adventures and I hope that you will subscribe and follow along with us as we move ahead with our new Winnebago Minnie FLX 2108DS

I had my RangeRunner 3 years and sold it easily due to its high demand. Got $500 more than what I paid. I highly recommend them.
That's so awesome!
Those are really nifty beds. Great job.
Thanks!
Great upgrades. I want to make those exact beds!
They were really great!
I can’t thank you enough ! Great ideas ! I been considering to do most of them and they’re great ! Awesome !!!!!
Thank you. Glad it's helpful.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
Great modification’s.
Thank you.
Great looking unit. You did a nice job with the mods.
Thank you!
Trailer is pretty nice too.
I like to see how you made those beds that's cool. I typed too soon. Later in the video, you showed more details.
Thank you for watching. They took some thought but turned out well.
Vert impressive little camper
Thanks
Hello. Could you tell me where you got the extendable and articulated table legs? thanks. Assis(from Brasil)
There should be a link to them in the description.
Nice mods!
Thank you!
Nice cool 😊
Thanks Larry!
Curious, what is the blue stripping you used that looks like for a door jam seal?
Pool noodles to stop the sharp metal edge there from cutting forehead
My husband and i have a Runaway Rouser we like having the spare tire under the trailer.
We don't want to put any holes in our trailer.
It's always best to do what you think is best for you.
I'm hoping it was the right time to see your home , prices are nuts I just can't see them continue to climb like they have . I'm in the process of selling some rentals I own for that reason .
Thank you. I believe it has been. Full priced offer in less than 10 days on the market. We feel that we are most certainly in line with God's plan in all this for our lives. We are taking a huge risk in making this jump of faith but believe it's what we must do if we are to fully realize what it is we are going to do. I wish you great success in selling off the rentals. I believe it's the right time for sure!😃
My favorite thing with this video, is how everything is heavily tapped on and slammed by a heavy hand during the walk-around 💪🤜
Wanted to demonstrate sturdiness. Can handle the abuse! 😁
@@livingwithrob Love it!!! Did you purchase a new camper??
@@featheredcoyote5477 we sure did!

What is the max weight for the roof bars on top of this camper? New subscriber, love your content. Be safe out there...
So happy to have you with us. I can't remember the weight. I'd reach out to the factory. runawaycampers.com
100lbs tongue,100lbs roof rack and 100lbs rear is what they told us.
Hello good evening. Where did find the materials to make the tables?
Greetings! Links for everything are in the description below the video; including the aluminum rail and the folding leg.
That spare needs a cover. The sun will have thst chalking in no time.
You're right!
I am betting you might have seen my Runaway videos showing the tail light additions and MaxxAir fan and passive vent. Everyone should consider doing these options. We now have moved on to our DIY Ford Transit van conversion. We still are part of the Runaway family and tonight is our last night at a Runaway rally in Terre Haute, Indiana. Be safe and blessings!
It was your video that gave me the idea. I modified it a ton, never used it and sold it. We moved up to a Winnebago Micro Mini FLX 2108. Selling our house...gonna live on the road for a while. Appreciated all your helpful Range Runner vids!
I almost bought a Ford Transit after my engine went on my ambulance! I decided I did not want the extra insurance, oil changes, etc. and wanted to have me sleep area separate from my vehicle. Happy trails! ,
@@sandyschneider6792 hope all goes well. The Range Runner is a great camper built by a great company.
Do you have a link for that table railing?
Sure thing. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G44IZEO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
were did you get the bed ida from
Designed it myself
Did you upgrade the floor?
@@senseofstile it was foam vinyl overlay
@@livingwithrob Thanks
@@senseofstile you're welcome
Do you have the plans for the beds?
Sadly, I do not and didn't draw them up. I wish I had. You're not the first person to have asked. 🙄
@@livingwithrob thanks for the reply. It looks really nice. I will try to replicate
@@octavio68 if you email me, we can discuss it further. I'll tell you what I remember that will help you get started. rob@livingwithrob.com
Did you guys sell this camper yet? I know you said you had a buyer. What was the asking price? Thanks! 😁
We did sell it. Yep. I think we sold it for 6800.
@@livingwithrob
Good for you guys. Small campers are such a sellers market. I cant find one used within reason.
@@gravityslave6277 very true. We are quite pleased with our new home in tge Winnebago 2108ds FLX however!
@@livingwithrob
Nice. That's quite the difference from the Runaway teardrop. Good travels!
I highly suggest buying Ecoflow power stations Not Jackery or Bluetti or any other brands.
Superior batteries
Superior fast charging
Superior cycles life -10,000 cycles, and then it goes to 80% capacity.
Thee BEST warranty in the business.
EXCELLENT customer service .
Bluetti has TERRIBLE customer service.🤬🤬
You pay a little more, but you won’t be disappointed down the road, and they won’t burn your rig down 🔥.
I would have carried that spare tire in the tow vehicle.
I really like the idea of that passive vent, and fan.
I would likley switch over to a different battery now. I have heard good things about Ecoflow as well.
Not sure how to have conjugal visits in this thing but perhaps that is a subject for a different video.
Agree ! 😁
