We have been adventuring in our runaway for the past 8 years. It was a game changer for us I am sure you are going to enjoy the adventures you can go on.
Come on now! Haven't you seen the video of my wife, Susie pulling our Runaway by hand without no stinking puller? Just kidding you! Those are great to have in the driveway and garage. Have fun and be safe! We cut two holes in the roof go our fiberglass RR and installed a MaxxAir 5100k fan and a MaxxAir passive vent that REALLY pulled the air through. I rewired mine and swapped out the power strips with smaller ones that have USB outlets. We now have a 2018 Ford Transit DIY camper van but are still in the Runaway Family! Recently, we were back at the Midwest RCO Summer Rally at Terre Haute. Hope to meet you at a rally one day.
@@charlesmoman the famous Charles Moman! I think I watched almost all of yours. Thank for watching mine! Playing with Sticks channel got me looking into the runaway and you and Hanging with Herky really sealed it for me. We love it and hope to make it to a rally. Thanks for all the knowledge!
Thank you for sharing and for the tour! Very helpful! Subscribed! Also note they make quick connect coax cables that may work for you. 😃I am also considering a Runaway camper in the future and really like the venturist but think it may be too tall/wide for where I would like to store it (single bay garage). Would you be willing to share how tall your range runner camper is from the ground to the top of the closed awning or top of roof rack? Thank you! Also one last question, when you ordered did you happen to see an option of ”flat” jeep style fenders for the rage runner, i like that look more than the round ones. Thank you so much and thank you for your time!
@@emilyjade3558 thanks for watching! I’ll measure tomorrow after work for you. I’ll also add it to my next video in case somebody else wants to know! The fenders are only for the Venturist. But…. The black coated a/c cover was too but they did it for me! lol so they might unless it’s structural?
@@emilyjade3558 ok it’s 6”10 for my garage opening and 6’2.5 hight of my camper. That’s the tallest point which is the rug holder pvc pipe I put on if you saw the 3 Unique Mods video. The batwing awning. Is an inch shorter! Hope that helps!
@@RunawayWithTaberland that helps tremendously, thank you so much for taking the time to measure your camper! I really appreciate it! Hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week and will look for your rug holder video too, that sounds like a great idea!
WTF is the fan not on the roof? Also, those smaller MaxxAir fans are loud, can’t imagine one of those in such a small space. Plenty of roof area for a proper MaxxAir Deluxe fan.
The roof is a one piece, fiberglass roof which is a large reason many of us like this tiny camper. Low maintenance with no worries of resealing of roof vents. The fan I do have works pretty good, but you’re right a MaxxAir Deluxe is awesome. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for sharing your new Runaway camper.
@@ern48 No, thank you for watching. Many more to share!
Nice walk-through of what is being offended on the new units. I wasn't aware of the new offerings. Looking forward to seeing your build out.
@@GetOutBeHappy thank you and thank you for watching!!

The wife MUST be staying in the truck, .... Because there ISN'T enough room in that thing for the 2 of you !!!
@@esousa486 lol believe it or not, we get 3 in there. We made a rule, no baked beans when camping. Don’t think the MaxxAir could take it! Hahahaha

@@RunawayWithTaberland So are roofs on RVs and many other vehicles. With proper installation and sealing zero issues.
